The Joint Admission Matriculation Board, JAMB, has rescheduled this year’s Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME from June 19 to July 3, 2021.

Nobody was surprised when JAMB’s boss, Professor Ishaq Oloyede, announced the rescheduling by two weeks. Applicants had experienced all kinds of difficulties to get registered for the examination.

Oloyede acknowledged this when he said that the decision to postpone the examination and extend registration for Two weeks follows difficulties encountered by prospective Candidates,  Parents and Guardians in registering for the National Identification Number, NIN, exercise, and other issues.

Oloyede, at a press conference in Abuja, Saturday, May 15, while disclosing  the postponement, said  the decision was the outcome of a two-day stakeholders’ meeting the board had in Abuja.
