Gifts are still dropping for the continent conquering Super Falcons of Nigeria. On return Monday, the girls were showered with 100,000 US Dollars, each, three bedroom apartment, each, National Honours, OON, no less and another N10 million each from Nigeria Governors Forum.
But later, same Monday, they received more, This time, from some of their male counterparts.
Super Eagles Players, Captain, William Troost-Ekong, Olaoluwa Aina, Ademola Lookman, Alex Iwobi, Leon Balogun, and Joseph Ayodele-Aribo donated N24 Million to the Super Falcons for their triumph at the recently concluded Women’s African Cup of Nations, WAFCON, Championship in Morocco.
The Super Falcons rallied from two goals down to beat hosts, Atlas Lionesses of Morocco in a pulsating final encounter on Saturday Night.
It was the 10th time Coach Justine Madugu’s side will be winning the title.
The players and their officials returned to the country on Monday afternoon and had a Trophy Parade in Abuja, the nation’s Capital.
