Duro Michael, Veteran Nollywood Actor, has died after a prolonged illness that left him bedridden.
His death was announced by his colleague and filmmaker, Stanleyontop on Thursday.
He wrote on his Instagram Page: “Nollywood actor Duro Michael has kicked the bucket.
“He died a few days ago after battling a terminal illness… May his soul rest in peace. Omo, it’s well ooo.
“We don’t help ourselves in this Nollywood, and it’s too bad… No synergy”, he wrote.
The late actor had been away from active acting for several years due to his deteriorating health.

In 2022, the late Duro received a financial support from Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin, who donated ₦5 million towards his treatment, though his condition worsened.
The late Veteran actor appeared in several Nollywood movies, including Midnight Love (2003) and The Guilty (2006).
He will be missed by colleagues and friends, most especially in the English genre of Nollywood.
