Contrary to claims by the National Union of Road Transport Workers, NURTW, led by Musiliu Akinsanya, MC Oluomo, distancing itself from the fracas in Idumota area of Lagos and its environs which led to the death of four people with several injured, it has been alleged that the NURTW boss is the mastermind of the mayhem.

Adekunle Lawan, popularly known as Kunle Poly, one of the top officials in the Lagos NURTW, alleged that MC Oluomo had instigated two factional hoodlums in the NURTW to fight each other in a bid to achieve his selfish interest by taking over the parks and putting his allies in the position.
