Uncle Docked For Ra€ping Underaged Niece In Ondo

The Gender-Based Offences Unit of Ondo State Police Command, has docked one Babawale Kolawole ‘m’ aged 53yrs of No. 12 Okeodunwo Street, Igbado, Ondo, over a case of incest and sexual abuse.

The suspect’s arrest and subsequent arraignment followed a report by a 16-year-old minor, at the Command that her uncle,  had been subjecting her to repeated se€ual assault.

The victim further alleged that the suspect engaged in the act almost daily, and that after each episode, he would clean her private part with a piece of cloth.

According to her, the suspect had also facilitated the termination of her pregnancies on two occasions.

Ondo State Police Command spokesman, Olusola Ayanlade in a statement, explained that:

“On the 13th of September, 2025, a 16-year-old minor, reported at the Command that her uncle, the above-named suspect, had been subjecting her to repeated se€ual assault.

“The victim further alleged that the suspect engaged in the act almost daily, and that after each episode, he would clean her private part with a piece of cloth. Shockingly, the suspect had also facilitated the termination of her pregnancies on two occasions.

“Upon receipt of this disturbing report, the Gender-Based Offences Unit of the Command immediately swung into action, arrested the suspect, and diligently processed the case for prosecution.

“He has since been arraigned before a competent court of jurisdiction and remanded in custody pending further trial.”

In another incident, the command announced the arrest of a suspect for stabbing to death, one 25 years old Fisayo Ajetumobi.

According to report, “On 13th September, 2025, at about 1830hrs, one Akinsola Lukman ‘m’ of No. 26 Areyetele Street, Sabo Road, Ondo, reported that while they were working at a construction site along Litaye Camp via Laje Road, Ondo, one Wale Ibrahim ‘m’ of No. 50 Oreborede Street, Ondo, arrived at the site and demanded the sum of fourteen thousand naira (₦14,000.00) from one Gabriel Oyeniran ‘m’, being money owed for wood he had earlier sold to him.

“An altercation ensued between the duo of Wale and Gabriel, during which the suspect, Wale Ibrahim, became violent and stabbed one Fisayo Ajetumobi ‘m’, aged 25 years, on the chest with a knife.

“Sadly, the victim sustained fatal injuries and died on the spot as a result of this unwarranted act of violence.

“The suspect was promptly arrested by the police, and after diligent investigation, he has been charged to court to face the full weight of the law.”
