Two leading aspirants of the party, Senators Opeyemi Bamidele and Dayo Adeyeye have advised the National Leadership of the APC to adopt direct primary in the choice of the candidate.

This, according to them, will afford all members of the party to participate in the choice of a candidate and that whosoever emerged will enjoy the support of members.
