Similarly, a new Speaker of the Assembly, Olamide Oladiji, was unanimously elected by Members.

Olamide Oladiji, aka Landmark, is from Ondo East Constituency in the Central Senatorial District of the State.
He will be deputised by Abayomi Akinruntan from Ilaje Constituency 1.
The Ninth Assembly ended on Friday amidst last minute move to impeach the Speaker, Oloyelogun.
Governor Rotimi Akeredolu had earlier stated his position on the House Officers saying he would not interfere in their choice.
