Supreme Court Fixes Date To Explain Atiku’s Loss

Nigerians will, on November 15, know exactly the reasons why the Presidential candidate of the PDP in the February 23, Presidential election, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and his party, lost their appeal at the Supreme Court.

A seven-man panel of Supreme Court Justices, led by the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Muhammad Tanko, had on October, 30, dismissed all the 66 grounds of Appeal filed before the apex court by the PDP and Atiku.

They had appealed to the Supreme Court, after  also, losing,  unanimously, at the Court of Appeal on September 11.

In dismissing the appeal in three sentences, the Justices of the Supreme Court had said the reasons for their action would be disclosed on a later date.

November 15 has now been confirmed for that.
