After a two- hour grilling, the Senate confirmed the Service Chiefs appointment by President Bola Tinubu.
The President sent their names for confirmation.
The four top service chiefs made by President Tinubu while fielding questions from the Senators promised to defend democracy, and deal ruthlessly with terrorists and bandits.
Thet are:
– Chief of Defence Staff: Lieutenant General Olufemi Oluyede, who replaces General Christopher Musa
– Chief of Army Staff: Major General Wahidi Shaibu
– Chief of Air Staff: Air Marshal Sunday Kelvin Aneke.
– Chief of Naval Staff: Rear Admiral Idi Abbas
