Senator Ifeanyi Ubah To Go Home November 22

All roads will lead to Otolo, Nnewi, Anambra State, on November 22, 2024. The town will literally grind to a halt under human and vehicular traffic.

It is the day the remains of a prominent son of Nnewi and Ndigbo, Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, CON, will be sent back to Mother-earth.

Ubah, an accomplishment businessman and philanthropist was   serving his second term as a Senator, APC, Anambra South,  before his sudden death in London where he was on a short trip with his family. His death  on July 27, 2024, was attributed to a sudden heart failure.

In a statement dated September 10, 2027, signed by his first son and namesake -Ifeanyi Ubah – on behalf of the family, it was disclosed that his death left a void. “His departure has left a deep void, but we are comforted by the overwhelming support from friends, well wishers and the general public.”

The statement also eulogiesed him as a loving father and devoted husband. His interment, the statement said, will be a solemn moment.

More details on the funeral arrangements will be announced in the near future for, according to the family, it is working alongside the National Burial Committee “to ensure that all arrangements will reflect the magnitude of the legacy he left behind.”

Senator Ubah was the founder and owner of Capital Oil, Ifeanyi Ubah Football Club, Authority Newspaper among others.

Born on September 3, 1971, he had a Law degree from Baze University, Abuja and was aged 53 at the time of his death.

Senator Ubah was married to Uchenna with whom he had children.
