Bulkachuwa, 82, the Senator  representing Bauchi North Senatorial District, confirmed his defection when he raised his PDP membership card and declared that he would “overwhelmingly support”  the victory of Atiku in the 2023 Presidential election.

The defection to PDP and endorsement of Atiku couldn’t have come at a better time for the Presidential candidate than now when Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, PDP, is threatening not to work for Atiku over his alleged marginalization by Atiku. He said Atiku doesn’t want him because he dared contest against him during the PDP Primary which Atiku won.

Receiving them, the Governor declared he was one of them, and was delighted to see them. Those who visited with Wike include Governors Samuel Ortom, Benue, Okezie Ikpeazu, Abia and Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, Enugu.

Bala: “Today I am very, very happy  to receive my brothers, the Governors of the G-5. They call themselves the integrity Group. I an supposed to be with them, but they excommunicated me for some reasons best known to them. Bur I am highly connected with them.”
