Real Reason Why Italian, Pellizzar Killed His Nigerian Wife

Fresh facts have emerged on the real reasons why Italian, Pierangelo Pellizzar killed his 31-year old Nigerian Wife, Rita Amenze.

The Italian who was arrested after shooting his wife four times at Noventina, Italy, last week Friday leading to her death was said to have killed because he felt cheated and betrayed.

The startling revelation from Italy said that the late Rita came to Italy in 2017 as an illegal immigrant and was rescued at the sea and taken to a refugee camp.

In 2018 Pierangelo Pellizzar met her, married her and took her out of the refugee camp, and went further to perfect her citizenship as an Italian.

Not too long after, she was granted Italian passport which enabled her get a good job.

Unknown to Pellizzar , Ruth had three kids before making such adventure of coming to Italy through Libya.

It was, however, gathered that Ruth had come to Nigeria a week before her demise to officially get married to the Father of her kids, with the intention of moving them to Italy soonest.

Unknown to her, her best friend went and revealed to  Pellizzar about her plans and that she already had a family back in Nigeria.

Her friend stressed further that his wife was cheating on him and had gotten married in Nigeria to the father of her children.

This angered Pellizzar, who was also informed by his wife’s friend that on returning to Italy from Nigeria, Ruth would file for a divorce, leaving him and relocating her family in Nigeria to Italy.

Immediately Rita returned from her trip to Italy that was what she actually did.

She filed for a divorce as soon as she returned. She planned to divorce the Italian and relocate her Nigerian husband and children to Italy.

Her Italian husband would not hear of it. But all attempts to convince her to change her mind were rebuffed.

On the day of the crime, he traced her to her office, shot her four times in front of her colleagues before handing himself over to the police.

Investigations showed that he is a drug addict who has been in and out of jail many times.

He has pleaded that he was emotionally disturbed and depressed by the behavior of Rita which led to his action

Investigations revealed that Pellizzar was previously banned from acquiring firearms, but it was not clear how he was able to lay his hands on the gun he used in killing Rita.

Following this revelation, the Executive Chairman of Nigerian Diaspora Commission, NIDCOM, Abike Dabiri-Erewa has reiterated the determination of the Nation and the Commission to get to the root of this matter and see that justice is served.

She called for a thorough investigation into the incident.
