Ndume To Tinubu: Stop Testing the Patience Of Nigerians, As Hardship Bites

0
Senator Ali Ndume

Senator Ali Ndume from Borno state has urge the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu administration to end the current economic hardship in the country.

The senator representing Borno North in the National Assembly said the patience of Nigerians has been tested enough considering the suffering in the land, adding that many people in the country are at a breaking point.

Ndume who spoke on Saturday, said, “It is not good to test the patience of Nigerians” stressing that President Tinubu’s advisers are misleading him to inflict hardship on Nigerians.

The former Senate Leader spoke following the recent hike in the price of petrol, which according to many well meaning people, will further impoverished Nigerians many of who are already suffering due to the government harsh policies.

He accused some presidential aides of misleading the president by not telling him the truth about the situation in the country, saying Nigerians are suffering untold hardship.

According to him, the constant hike in the price of petrol has exacerbated the cost of transportation, as many Nigerian could no longer afford to go out to eke out a living because of the high cost of transportation.

A chieftain of the ruling All progressive Congress, APC, Ndume said farmers have abandoned their farms due to the high cost of transportation, saying this has been responsible for the high cost of food in the country.

He said Tinubu ‘means’ well for the country, but that his advisers are responsible for the unfriendly-polices being inflicted on the country under his administration. He urged Tinubu to drop ‘these bad people’ pitting his administration against Nigerians.

Ndume said, “I’m appealing to him to resist these bad people who want to pitch the people against his administration.

“The hardship these people are inflicting on Nigerians is becoming unbearable. I’m currently in Borno, and I know what I’m talking about. People are really suffering, hungry, frustrated and angry.

“In Borno State here, many families can’t even feed anymore. The untold hardship of these frequent increases in the prices is unimaginable. Farmers can not even move their farm products anymore because of the high cost of transportation.

“Those who can still do this add the cost of transportation to the prices of food items they sell, and that’s why many people can’t feed again. People can’t travel anymore. To travel by road from Abuja to Maiduguri, for instance, is a fortune. How many of our people can afford that?

“I know that President Tinubu means well for Nigerians, and therefore he should not stay back and allow a few bad advisers to destroy this country. That’s why I’m begging him to do something before it is too late. It is not good to test the patience of Nigerians, and that’s exactly what these bad advisers are doing.

“As soon as the President returns to Nigeria, I urge him to look into these issues and address them urgently. The purchasing power of Nigerians is too poor, and they can’t afford the things that are being pushed on them every day by enemies of the state,” he said.

Recall that Ndume was suspended from the senate by the APC, and his lofty position as Senate Leader and Chairman Senate Committee on Army revoked after accusing President Tinubu of being too distant from Nigerians.

He was later reinstated to the Senate but his juicy positions as Senate Leader and Senate Committee Chairman on Army stand revoked by the powerful APC government.

Rivers crisis: “Forget It, Fubara Will Never Represent Budget Before Amaewhule”  – Chief Eze

Chief Chukwuemeka Eze

By Gideon Njoku

“Rivers people shall resist the destabilisation of the State or the impeachment of the Governor.”

A former National Publicity Secretary of the defunct New People’s Democratic Party (nPDP), Chief Chukwuemeka Eze, has said that Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State will never represent the 2024 Budget before factional Speaker Martins  Amaewfule and 26 other Lawmakers.

Chief Eze, a Leader in the All Progressives Congress, APC, said the thought of Fubara doing that should be perished because Amaewfule and his colleague-legislators have since ceased to be members of the Rivers State House of Assembly having willingly lost their seats when on December 11, 2023, they resigned from the PDP under which ticket they contested and won election and joined the All Progressives Congress, APC.

“They are no longer members of the State Assembly”, Eze declared.

His statement in a press release on Friday came on the heels of the judgement of the Court of Appeal on Thursday which ordered the Governor to represent the Budget before the House led by Amaewfule.

In the press release Eze insisted that some in Rivers State are bent on using the Legal system to stamp their authority and dominate the State.  That  he said is responsible for the lingering crisis over the leadership of the House of Assembly.

Fubara had contested the judgement of the Federal High Court Abuja on January 22, 2024, by the Honourable Justice James Omotosho which ordered him to go and represent the Budget.

But in reaction Chief Eze posited that “the defection of Martin Amaewhule and twenty-six other members from the PDP, which had supported their election in the 2023 Legislative Assembly Election, to the APC on December 11, 2023, was not a factor in the current lawsuit, which was determined by Justice Omotosho on January 22, 2024.”

He recalled that all the parties, at a meeting with President Bola Tinubu to make peace, had agreed on certain terms.

Said Eze: “Fubara obeyed President Tinubu’s order to end the warring parties’ legal actions in order to facilitate a peaceful settlement of the conflict and restore peace to the state of Rivers.

“Martin Amaewhule and the 26 lawmakers who defected, however, did not drop suit No. FHC/ABJ/1613/CS/2023 and went on to win a judgment against the Rivers State governor.

“At this point, it has become imperative to state from a legal standpoint that by the provision of Section 109(i) (g) of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (as amended), Martin Amaewhule and 26 other Lawmakers having defected, automatically lost their seats as members of the Rivers State House of Assembly on the 11th day of December, 2023, as Section 109(1)(g) is self executory as no court order is required thereof.

“Nevertheless, in view of the judgment of Justice Joseph Oyewole led 3-man panel of the Court of Appeal on October 10, 2024, it is of paramount importance to quash the gale of misrepresentation and misinterpretation that Amaewhule & 26 other defected Lawmakers remain members of the Rivers State House of Assembly.

“I make bold to state in the strongest term that the Appellate Court did not adjudicate on the legitimacy or otherwise of the defection of the embattled lawmakers. In this regard, the fact remains that Martins AMAEWHULE and his co-Travellers have ceased to be Lawmakers and Fubara will not grant them any legality by representing any Budget before them.

“So those celebrating should go ahead to celebrate on an issue that was dead on arrival as the plot to plunge Rivers State into darkness will not be accomplished,” Eze said.

He enjoined Fubara to head to the Supreme Court to appeal the judgment of the Court of Appeal. He, also,  “appealed to the Judiciary to be circumspect of deft moves by self serving politicians to drag the judiciary into the mud.

“I urge the courts to ensure they deliver sound and time tested judgments devoid of technicalities, as well as stop every plot that will derail and expose the country’s fledgling democracy to public opprobrium.

“Governor Fubara must stand firm and not yield to intimidation, betrayal or judicial harassment from Wike and his adversaries.

“There will be daring consequences if Rivers people and Nigerians in general fail at this period to wrestle Rivers State from the firm grip of Wike.

“Let me state without mincing words that President Bola Tinubu is duty bound to ensure that Rivers State is not allowed to be destabilized due to one man’s dictatorial tendencies.

“By withdrawing his counter affidavits and processes filed in the suit, Governor Fubara did not make any mistake in obeying the directive of President Tinubu.

“Or is President Tinubu’s directive mischievous and deceptive as Fubara’s withdrawal of court processes earlier filed, formed the basis upon which the appellate panel dismissed the suit?

“The plot to set Rivers State on fire or attempt to impeach the Governor will be resisted.

“I urge people of the State, particularly, loyalists of Governor Fubara to be calm and go about their normal duties as the suit bordering on defection of the 27 lawmakers is still pending in court,” he said.

PDP Crisis: Pro APC/ Wike Faction Plots Resurrection of nPDP

0
PDP Umar Damagum

By Akinjide Aina, Abuja Bureau Chief

As Nigeria’s main opposition party, the People’s Democratic Party, PDP slips into debilitating leadership crisis and the battle for its soul rages, The Source has learnt that barring a last minute change of heart, a faction of the party loyal to the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC and the immediate past Rivers state Governor and Minister For FCT, Nyesom Wike will in the coming days announce a split from the party and formation of new PDP, reminiscent of a similar split in the party in 2013.

The faction, supported and allegedly financed by Wike, a chieftain of the party but who worked against it in the 2023 presidential election, is headed by Umar Damagum. Damagum, viewed by many in the party as a lackey of the FCT Minister and President Tinubu was Friday suspended by an opposing faction. His own faction would hours later issue a statement suspending the faction that had earlier suspended him.

The magazine was reliable informed that the rumpus in the PDP has its locale in the 2027 presidential election. The Damagum/ Wike faction, the magazine learnt, are bent on weakening the party and keeping it divided thus rendering it ineffective and unable to effectively challenge President Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.

“Wike has not forgotten and will never forgive the PDP for denying him its 2027 ticket; he is dealing with the PDP through the Damagum faction; he is intent in finishing off the PDP before urinating on its carcass and moving to the APC. I can authoritatively tell you that the duo of Wike and Damagum, though still claiming PDP membership, are actively working for Tinubu’s re-election

“In the coming days, the Damagum faction, citing the leadership crisis in the party will announce the birth of nPDP reminiscent of the 2013 episode when PDP renegades opposed to the re-election bid of former President Goodluck Jonathan walked out of the party’s national convention and then announced the formation of a splinter group called new PDP or nPDP”, a highly placed party source privy to the plot told the magazine.

Further giving an insight into the lethal design  of the Wike/ Damagum impending nPDP, the source further told this magazine: “The nPDP will claim it’s the authentic PDP and then try to sustain the crisis, wear out the party, create the enabling legal and moral ground for their conspirators in the National Assembly and state Assemblies to defect to the APC before announcing, as was the case in 2014, it is dissolving into the ruling party”

The magazine was also informed that citing a division in the national leadership of the party, two PDP Governors are mulling the option of dumping the party for the APC.

Announcing the suspension of Damagum and the National Secretary, Senator Sam Anyanwu, the PDP National Publicity Secretary, in a press statement, Hon. Debo Ologunagba attributed the action to anti- party activities by the two national officers, especially their role in the feud between Wike and his successor, Governor Siminalayi Fubara.

The statement reads in part: “The National Working Committee (NWC) of the PDP has extensively considered the series of complaints raised against the Acting National Chairman, Amb. Illiya Damagum and National Secretary, Sen. Samuel Anyanwu particularly with regard to the letter addressed by them to the Court of Appeal in Appeal No:CA/PH/307/2024 against the Party’s position in the case involving the 27 former members of the Rivers State House of Assembly who vacated their seats upon decamping from the PDP to the All Progressives Congress (APC)

“The NWC condemned this anti-party activity of the Acting National Chairman and the National Secretary which is in gross violation of the provisions of the PDP Constitution (as amended in 2017) and their Oath of Office.*

“Consequently, the NWC, pursuant to Sections 57, 58 and 59 of the PDP Constitution, has suspended Amb. Illiya Damagum and Sen. Samuel Anyanwu as Acting National Chairman and National Secretary of the Party respectively and referred them to the National Disciplinary Committee for further action

“In the meantime, the two officials are suspended from all meetings, activities and programs of the NWC pending the conclusion of investigation by the National Disciplinary Committee”

Damagum’s faction on its part also cited alleged anti- party activities  and disloyalty to the party as reason for the suspension of the National Legal Adviser, Kamaldeen Ajibade, and the National Publicity Secretary, Ologunagba.

Meanwhile, the NWC of the party has announced the appointment in acting capacity of Yariya Ahmed Muhammed as Damagum’s replacement. This is coming amid appeal by the party’s Board of Trustees, BoT led by former Senate President, Adolphus Wabara for a sheath of sword by the warring factions.

Abia LG Polls: Why Mayors, Transition Officials Are Not Contesting

0
Chief Uche Wogu

By Suleiman Anyalewechi.

  • Governor Otti did not stop us – Mayor Wogu

The Mayor of Aba South Metropolitan Council, Chief Uche Wogu, has strongly rejected claims that Governor Alex Otti is to be blamed for the inability of Transition Chairmen and Mayors to participate  in the forthcoming  Local  Government Polls in the State.

This is even as he informed that the Mayors are solidly behind the Governor in his pursuit of his vision and mission for a new Abia State.

The Source reports that contrary to wide spread expectations, the  Mayors and other serving interim leadership of the various Local Governments were barred from the polls scheduled for November 2 2024.

Before now, expectations were rife that the serving Mayors and Interim Council Officials would form the bulk of the ruling Labour Party  candidates for the election in the State.

However, all the present Council officials  have been dropped from the race, a development which has sent many tongues wagging as to the real motives.

Expectedly, not a few have seen the surprising situation as a sign of disagreement between Governor Otti and his mostly billionaire-Mayors who he had appointed to assist him in driving developmental efforts at the grassroots.

But in an exclusive interview with The Source on Friday October 11, in Aba, Mayor Wogu said the LP-led Government of Abia State and the ranks of the part are as solid as the rock, contrary to insinuations in some quarters.

“For the records, let it be  known that the serving Mayors and other Transition Council officials were prevented from being part of the forthcoming Local Council Election by extant laws.

“There was this law that was enacted in 2002 which expressly barred serving transition council officials from succeeding themselves.

“In 2007, the law was amended and that session was removed.

But in 2014, during the administration of former Governor Theodore Orji, the session was reintroduced.

But unfortunately, in the count down to the preparation for this election, nobody in the system, was able to dictate the situation.

By the time it was noticed, it was already late. This is the real situation that stopped us from contesting the forthcoming polls” Mayor Wogu stated .

According to him, it will be most uncharitable and unfair to blame the situation on the Governor and or any of the officials of the administration.

“I can tell you with authority that the development took the Governor and everybody by surprise. The Governor, much to my knowledge, would have loved to continue exploring the good working relationship  he  has cultivated  with most of the transition leaders.

“The truth is that it is an unfortunate situation ,and much as there is nothing the Governor or anybody can do about it, we are consoled by the fact that Abia has enough capable hands to move it forward”

Chief Wogu noted that despite not being part of  the election, the Transition Council Officials are unrelenting in their support for the Governor and his administration to move the  state to the next. level .

“For me, I am eternally grateful to Governor Alex Otti for giving me the opportunity to serve my people.

“We agreed to join the Governor because of his lofty dreams and visions for the state .

“And today, going by the giant strides so far made in infrastructural renewal, and the repositioning of the State generally, I am happy to be part of the system .

“Although I’m not speaking for other Mayors, but I can tell you with all sense of responsibility that my colleagues in other Councils are happy to be part of the Abia renewal project of Governor Otti.

“We are happy with the positive direction the state is going at the moment ,and I want to  place it on record that ,we the transition Council leaderships are ever ready to go along with the Governor in his unwavering efforts at0 changing the narrative of the state”, Wogu stated.

He ruled out completely the existence of cracks within, as a result of the exclusion of the Mayors and others from the Local Government race.

He insisted that the  Mayors are ever ready to lend their support and expertise in what other areas they are needed .

“Don’t forget that  these people ( Mayors)   are already accomplished in their various fields of endeavours, but agreed to assist in the task of reinventing the state .

“Their acceptance (Mayors) to serve in the first instance was  sacrifices on their parts. I can tell you that when called upon to serve in other capacities they will gladly do so again.

Reason being that they are convinced beyond any reasonable doubt that they are dealing with a sincere and purposeful arrangement

But because propaganda is part and parcel of politics ,people are free to insinuate whatever they like ,particularly in the present case of the exclusion of the Mayors and others from the local Government election.

Again ,let me repeat ,Governor Alex Otti, and or  any officials of his administration are not to be blamed for the inability of us ,the transition committee members to be part of the contest .

It is a situation himself ( the Governor)  is even surprised at . But like I said earlier, the good thing is that ,we have more than enough reservoir of talents, committed and dedicated persons to step in and carry on with the job . And that is exactly what the LP as a  party has done .

And I believe that after November 2, the people that will emerge will join in the task in driving the new Abia of our dream ” Mayor Wogu enthused.

You Have No Compassion For Nigerians, Obi Attacks Tinubu Over Recent Petrol Price Hike

0
Peter Obi and Bola Tinubu

The 2023 Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, LP, Peter Obi says President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has no compassion for Nigerians with his government’s recent hike of price of petrol in  the country.

The former governor of Anambra state made the remark In a post he shared on his X handle on Saturday, describing the hike draconian considering the hardship many Nigerians are going through at the moment.

After the government-controlled oil company, Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, NNPCL jerked up the price from barely N900 to N1,050 per litre the federal government denied involvement, blaming the total deregulation of the sector for the hike.

Not a few Nigerians insist that the Tinubu-led administration is insensitive to the plight of many Nigerians following the latest hike.

The price of Petrol also known Premium Motor Spirit, PMS has been hiked twice within a month by the government, with no end in sight to the frequent increase by the administration, according to analysts in the energy sector.

Reacting, Obi said the hike is a pointer that the  All Progressive Congress, APC government does not have a clear economic direction for the nation’s oil and gas sector, adding that the role played by the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited,NNPCL, in the now deregulated sector has been somehow controversial.

He said the nation’s oil and gas sector appears rudderless with Tinubu as the Minister of Petroleum Resources, urging the president to as a matter of urgency reverse the price hike.

Obi: “This is neither how an economy’s resources should be managed nor how a nation should be governed. In this new measure, there is neither sound economics nor necessary compassion.

“We are told that the NNPCL is now a limited liability company, regulated by agencies such as the NUPRC and NMDPRA, yet there seems to be growing confusion about the roles and responsibilities of the NNPCL and these regulating bodies.

“Interestingly, both the NNPCL and the regulatory agencies are supposed to be under the supervision of the Federal Ministry of Petroleum Resources, with the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria serving as the substantive Minister. Who, in this arrangement, is regulating who?

“With the unprecedented but avoidable hardship that Nigerians are enduring, the responsibility for providing a full explanation, offering alternative options, and most importantly, reversing the sudden price hike falls squarely on the Honorable Minister of Petroleum Resources/President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

“To casually inflict such a draconian measure on the populace from the comfort of an annual vacation amounts to taking the people’s welfare lightly and for granted.”

Before he became president last year, petrol was sold for barely N300 per litre. The product has witnessed an unprecedented increase during his tenure as it’s now sold for N1, 200 per litre or more.

Dangote Refinery Mulls Crude Oil Production Amidst Shortfall From NNPC

Dangote Refinery

The $20 billion Dangote Refinery is planning to produce crude oil from it two oil fields in Bonny, Rivers state.

According to S & P Global Community reports, the decision was taken by the Refinery following shortfall of crude oil supply from the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, NNPCL.

The company owned by Africa’s Riches Man, Aliko Dangote is currently eyeing the fourth qaurter of this year to start crude oil mining from its two Niger Delta Upstream in Oil Mining Leases 71 and 72starting with about 20,000 barrels per day before the end of the year, with future plan to increase production.

The magazine reports that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu had recently directed the NNPCL to supply Dangote refineries with 400,000 barrel of crude per day in the naira-for crude-deal as part of the federal government’s efforts to enhance adequate fuel supply in the country.

The deal finally kicked off this month.

However, sources said the refinery had only received 200, 000 barrel of crude per day since it began production this year, creating a huge shortfall for the petrochemical refinery which aims to become major fuel producer in Africa and Europe.

The management of the refinery had earlier said it will source crude from the United States and Europe to augment local crude supply from the NNPCL.

Also, the decision to start crude oil mining in its Niger Delta Upstream Project will further enhance adequate feedstock for the refinery, sources in the company said.

“The company source said production at the company’s two Niger Delta upstream projects in Oil Mining Leases 71 and 72 would start at around 20,000 b/d, before ramping up further in the first quarter of 2025,” the report said.

The report stated that Dangote is currently seeking a floating production, storage and offloading vessel with a capacity of 650,000 barrels of crude.

The company, it was learnt, holds an 85 per cent stake in West African E&P Venture, which in turn has a 45 per cent working interest in the two blocks, alongside the state-owned Nigerian National Petroleum Company’s 55 per cent.

The other stakeholder in West African E&P is Nigerian upstream player, First E&P, which operates OMLs 71 and 72.

“The licences are located in the shallow water in the southeast of the troubled Niger Delta, just 22 km from the onshore Bonny terminal. They contain the Kalaekule and Koronama oilfields.”

Ondo Attorney General Now  Propaganda Machinery Of Govt  – SDP

Kayode Ajulo SAN

By Ayodele Oni

The Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Ondo State has expressed concern over the role of the Attorney General and commissioner for justice, Olukayode Ajulo SAN in the altercation between the House of Assembly and commissioner  for finance.

The opposition party said Ajulo’s role has deviated from his primary function as the Chief law officer of the state to that of a government propagandist.

The assembly on Thursday refused to present the bill for the supplementary appropriation for debate for second reading following the absence of the Commissioner for Finance, Mrs Omowumi Isaac at the plenary despite being summoned by the Assembly.

While defending the action of his colleague, Ajulo stated that “The Commissioner of Finance, Mrs. Omowumi Isaac, was engaged in an official trip outside the state due to her demanding schedule.

“It is crucial to recognize her extensive responsibilities, which include attending various statutory meetings such as RAMFAC, the Commissioners of Finance Meeting, and numerous discussions on investment, economics, and finance.

“In light of this, she promptly addressed the Assembly’s invitation by sending the Permanent Secretary—who is the most senior official and accounting officer in her ministry—to communicate her circumstances.”

The SDP in a statement on Saturday, signed by Oyeniyi Iwakun Publicity Secretary, said it “views with grave concern the recent statement by the State Attorney General, Dr. Olukayode Ajulo, OON, SAN, which demonstrates a troubling deviation from his constitutional role as the state’s chief legal officer.

“It is deeply disturbing that the Attorney General has taken it upon himself to become the administration’s Public Relations Officer, attempting to explain away the Finance Commissioner’s failure to honor a legislative summons and dismissing legitimate concerns about tensions between the executive and legislative branches.

“Since when did the office of the Attorney General become a propaganda machinery for the executive branch?

“The people of Ondo State deserve better than a chief legal officer who spends more time crafting political narratives than upholding the rule of law.

“The Attorney General’s statement, filled with excuses and political platitudes, undermines the principle of separation of powers and legislative oversight.

“A summons by the House of Assembly is not a mere invitation to be delegated to a Permanent Secretary, regardless of how busy the Commissioner’s schedule may be.

“We call on Dr. Ajulo to remember his sacred duty as Attorney General – to serve as an independent legal officer, not a praise singer or defender of executive actions.

“The office of the Attorney General should be focused on upholding the constitution, not explaining away potential constitutional crises.

“The SDP reminds the good people of Ondo State that effective governance relies on each office holder staying within their constitutional boundaries. When an Attorney General becomes an administration’s chief apologist, it compromises the entire system of checks and balances.

“We will continue to vigilantly monitor this dangerous trend and speak out against any actions that threaten our democratic principles.”

Umar Dikko Radda - Governor of Katstina State

By Suleiman Anyalewechi

The Katsina State Governor Dikko Umar Radda has reportedly gifted Niger Republic  the sum of USD10,000 in aid of the reconstruction  of a mosque.

A statement issued on Friday October 11,2024 by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Political matters, Ya’u Umar Gwajo-gwaj, said the money will assist in the reconstruction efforts ongoing  at a 200 year old mosque in the Damagaran area of  Nigeria’s West African neighbours.

The Governor’s Aide who announced the donation at a Media Parley in Katsina, informed that the money will assist the Niger Republic authorities in  reconstructing  the mosque into a modern and standard state.

Further speaking, the Special Adviser said that Governor Radda was goaded into making the donation owing to his burning desire for the social and spiritual development of the people whom he insisted share a lot of things in common with the Katsina and Northern Nigeria people.

” The Mosque will contribute towards instilling Islamic moral discipline in our people, and it will assist in addressing many social ills in our society.

“We are one people separated by artificial borders. This is why we should strengthen bilateral relations between our people and address our challenges collectively” he said.

The  Governor’s Aide who is also a Traditional Title holder in Damagaran ( Turakin Damagaran) the host town of the beneficiary Mosque, quoted  the Sultan of Damagaran  Abubakar Sanda-Umau as greatly appreciating Governor Radda’s gesture.

“The Sultan also maintained that the  donation will go a long way in underscoring the age long relationship between Katsina and Damagaran.”

The Source reports that the donation has served to reawaken the  controversial special attention accorded Niger Republic by the immediate past administration of President Muhammadu Buhari.

President Buhari, himself from Katsina, was alleged to have advanced so many special aids to the land locked country, including  SUVs for top Niger Republic Government functionaries .

The climax of his special attention, was when, during the twilight of his eight year regime ,he allegedly threatened to relocate to  Niger Republic to enjoy his retirement if disturbed in Nigeria.

Mele Kyari

By Adesina Soyooye

For Mele Kyari, the Group Managing Director of the Nigerian Petroleum Company Ltd, Friday, 11th October turned out a disaster.
