Allen Onyema

By Adesina Soyooye

Nigeria’s Premier Airline, Air Peace, has moved to douse the tension and concern which arose from the indictment of its Chairman/Chief Executive Officer, Allen Onyema, on alleged fraud charges and money laundering, by a United States Court.

The charges were brought against Onyema, and the Airline’s Chief of Finance/Administration, Mrs. Ejiro Eghagha, by the US Department of Justice.

But the Airline, realising the implication of the indictment on its image, has pleaded for patience, and urged the public not to jump to conclusions. It said that this too shall pass away.

In a statement, it released on Sunday, the Airline harped on its commitment to transparency and integrity, even as it noted that it is comprehensively reviewing the allegations against its Chairman and Mrs Eghagha.

The airline noted that the case is in court and will follow due process as required by law.

The Statement reads in part: “We understand that this may have raised concerns, and we wish to address these report directly.

“These charges levelled against our post-holders are part of an extended legal process stemming from earlier accusations of financial misdeeds that date back several years.”

The  statement acknowledged that the charges have been expanded but emphasised that they were still allegations, and still in court.

It said: “Our legal team is fully engaged with the matter and is working tirelessly to ensure that justice prevails.

“We remain confident that, through due process, the truth will be revealed and our CEO and co-defendant will be exonerated.”

The statement pointed out that its Chairman and his legal team had always cooperated with authorities throughout the process.

This situation, it said, has not affected its operations as an Airline. The Airline has operated without any disruption.

“We want to re-assure the public that these legal proceedings will not impact the safety, reliability or day-to-day operations of Air Peace,” it  assured.

Air Peace, Nigeria’s largest Airline has the one of the largest fleets in Africa.

Igboho Submits petition To UK

The Wazirin Katsina Prof Sani Abubakar Lugga has urged northerners to take their destinies in their own hands as the country faces the imminent threats of break up.

The academic made the call during an event organised by the Coalition of Northern Group, CNG, at the weekend, stressing that leaders in the region appear not prepared for separation like other regions in the country.

The don urged the northern region to unite and prepare for self-determination, much like their southern counterparts.

Prof Lugga spoke amidst recent calls from separatist groups form the south such as the Nnamdi Kanu-led Indegenous People of Biafra, IPOB, the Yoruba Nation led by Prof Adebanji Akintoye.

Lugga’s call on the northerners also coincides with the submission of a petition by Sunday Igboho one of the Yoruba Nation leaders to the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Keir Starmer to consider the secession of the South West form Nigeria.

Lugga said the country is very fragile at the moment, stressing that the north must prepare if they don’t want to be caught unawares  should the South succeeds in breaking away form the country.

The magazine reports that Igboho submitted the petition to the UK leader on Sunday, on behalf of Prof. Akintoye alongside other Yoruba Nation leaders.

They include Yoruba Nation Diaspora Youth Leader, Prophet Ologunoluwa, Vice President of Ifeladun Apapo, Fatai Ogunribido, General Secretary of Yoruba World Media, Alhaja Adeyeye, and Member of Yoruba Nation Movement, Paul Odebiyi.

NNPP To Tinubu: You Have Failed, Seek Help From Jonathan

0
Bola Tinubu And Jonathan

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu should consult former President Goodluck Jonathan on how to tackle the economic problems in the country because he is bereft of ideas on how to turn the situation around.

The New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP gave the advise to the president while speaking to The Punch on Sunday, as the country continues to face unprecedented economic crisis.

The prices of essential goods and services have shot up in the last few months, throwing many families into  deeper poverty, and making life unbearable for them, critics of the government said.

Not a few Nigerians have blamed the administration of President Tinubu for the hardship, citing for instance, the unfriendly policies adopted by his government since coming to power on May 29, 2023.

Such policies, analysts say, include the removal of fuel subsidy and the floating of naira. The government has also hiked electricity tariff, and is planning to increase the value Added Tax, VAT to the dismay of many Nigerians.

Some of these policies were carried out, critics of the administration say, without robust consultation with major stakeholders.

The administration however said it’s working in the interest of Nigerian, saying it’s a matter of time before things get better in the country.

Speaking yesterday, Dipo Olaoyoku, NNPP Secretary General, said the president is confused on how to move the country forward, Tinubu should consult with Nigeria’s former leaders, particularly former President Jonathan on how to tackle the current economic challenges.

For instance, the former president was able to tackle the problems in the oil and gas sector of the economy without the incessant price hike in the pump prime of petrol, Olayoku said, adding that the Naira exchange rate to the dollar was N200 under the administration of President Jonathan.

He said Nigerians are facing the worst time in their lives due to the administration failure to find lasting solutions to the sufferings in the country, stressing that families are “facing catastrophic hardships under this government.”

Olayoku: “This government is bereft of ideas. Unfortunately, if you look at the people he has appointed to key positions, you won’t find a competent one among them.

“After surviving Buhari’s administration, Nigerians are now facing catastrophic hardships under this government, which has shown no compassion.

“Let them go and beg Dr. Goodluck Jonathan for advice on how he managed to stabilize the naira and maintain economic balance before the APC came into power.”

Attack On SuperSport Crew: Anambra Has Placed In Unfavourable Light – APC Chieftain

Sir Paul Chukwuma

By Suleiman Anyalewechi

A chieftain of the All Progressive Congress, APC, and one of the leading aspirants in next year’s  Anambra gubernatorial contest, Sir Paul Chukwuma, has decried the worsening security situation of the state in recent times.

He regretted that the unfortunate ambush and attack on the crew of the Supersport crew on Thursday along the Ihiala-Orlu road, has once again underscored the perilous security situation in the state under the watch of Governor Charles Soludo.

The Source reports that the Supersport crew and others traveling to Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State Capital for the AFCON qualifier between Nigeria’s Super Eagles and their Lybian counterparts were on Thursday October 10, attacked by suspected kidnappers.

Three people, Supersport Cameraman, a Police personnel, and the driver of the bus in which they were  traveling lost their lives in the incident.

Security operatives were, however, able to rescue about six members of the traveling party, who were abducted by the attackers.

However, one of the abducted passengers, according to the Anambra State Police Command Spokesperson, Tochukwu Ikenga, is still unaccounted for.

In a statement issued by his Media aide James Eze on Sunday October 13, the APC Chieftain lamented that the unfortunate incident has once again placed Anambra state on the wrong side of global news.

Sir Chukwuma noted that the attack has further  deepen the people mistrust,in the abilities of the state Government to protect the lives and properties of the people .

“This attack has not only placed Anambra in an unfavourable light ,but has also revealed the urgent need for stronger security measures across our state” the APC Stalwart noted

While appreciating the courage and gallantry of the police ,the Army and other security agencies in rising to the occasion ,he extended his heartfelt condolences to the  families of the victims ,the Nigeria Football Federation NFF ,and to the Supersport .

He expressed the hope that the ugly incident will not  dampen the spirit and commitment of Supersport, which he noted has been playing a prominent role in bringing joy and happiness to the teeming lovers of football and sports generally in the country.

“Our thoughts go to the Nigerian Army ,whose courageous response during the rescue efforts is deeply appreciated.

“We mourn with the families of the deceased and stand in solidarity with all who are grieving” Chukuma stated.

He, however, urged the Anambra State Government to rise to the security challenges in the state, which he insisted has severely disrupted the peace of state ,as well as its economic development .

“The people of Anambra deserve safety and security .Incidents like this should serve as a wake up call for the Government to fulfil its responsibility of protecting lives and properties” he noted.

MURIC Calls For The Withdrawal Of Bishop Oyedepo’s Airstrip License

Professor Ishaq Akintola - MURIC

By Akinwale Kasali

The Prof. Ishaq Akintola led Muslim Rights Concern, MURIC, has called for the immediate withdrawal of the Airstrip License given to Bishop David Oyedepo’s Living Faith Church, popularly known as Winners Chapel or Cananland.

Kicking at the Airstrip License, the Islamic Rights Organisation argued that it was a dangerous precedent particularly in a Nation ridden with religious crises and large-scale insecurity.

The Group demanded for the withdrawal of the Licence, urging the National Assembly to wade into the matter.

The demand for the withdrawal of the Licence was made in a press statement by the Founder and Executive Director of the Group, Professor Ishaq Akintola.

The statement reads: “The Federal Government (FG) confirmed two days ago that it has granted a licence to build an airstrip to Bishop David Oyedepo of Canaanland, also known as Winners Chapel or Living Faith Church.

Bishop David Oyedepo

“We strongly condemn this action. It is not only reckless and thoughtless, it is also insensitive and provocative. It is a dangerous precedent. This should not be happening in a multi-religious society laden with religious crises and large-scale insecurity. This licence must be revoked with immediate effect. It is interesting to note that the licence is already generating controversy because it is a threat to national security.

“Going down memory lane, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor was caught in South Africa with a plane loaded with cash amounting to $9.3 million. He admitted to the South African authorities that the money was meant for the purchase of Arms.

“Official coverup was later provided by the Jonathan-led administration when the government of the day claimed that FG was aware of the arms deal.

“There must be more to this than meets the eye. Ayo Oritsejafor was the president of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) when he was caught with this money in South Africa. His firebrand leadership style caused ripples in the country as religious controversies rented the air.

“Besides, Oritsejafor was not alone in his private jet when he was caught. There was an Israeli citizen with him..

“It becomes interesting if we connect this with FG’s interest in contracting Israelis as security advisers in Aso Rock. These are the same Israelis presently committing genocide in Gaza and rebuffing the United Nations.

“Granting Bishop Oyedepo licence to build an airstrip is an open invitation to the Israeli Mossad to fly in directly to abduct Muslims and disappear at will. Forceful rendition of Muslims from the streets to Western countries has been a common practice for some time now but this development may exacerbate it.

“This airstrip will expose Nigerian Muslims to danger. Foreign mercenaries may land at the airstrip from outside Nigeria to commit atrocities and leave from there undetected. The destiny of Nigeria should not be placed in the hands of a single religious group.

“Coupled with the inability of our security agencies to pinpoint the source of supply of weapons to insurgents, kidnappers and separatists, we must agree that Nigeria is not ripe for this type of licence for a religious leader to build a private airstrip. We all know that Nigerians practice acrobatic religiousity instead of religion per se. Many Nigerians bid farewell to reason a long time ago, particularly in matters of faith.

“Nigeria would probably have been up in flames if this kind of licence had been given to a Muslim, say, Shaykh Ahmad Gumi whom some Muslim-haters love to hate. That is why we are wondering why social analysts, commentators and human rights lawyers and activists have elected to adopt a strange culture of silence over the Oyedepo airstrip imbroglio.

“We charge Nigerians to rise as one in condemning this misadventure. Let us eschew sentiments and address the issue objectively. FG misfired big time this time around. It is gross miscalculation to favour one religion out of three. Discrimination and favouritism can only widen the gap between Nigerians.

“We urge the National Assembly to bring sanity to this ugly development. Parliamentary intervention by the possessors of political acumen is sometimes what we need to unravel administrative sophistry. Nigeria needs the wisdom of its lawmakers to pull it out of this abyss of self-immolation. There may also be need for Nigerian lawmakers to revisit the Oritsejafor arms cash saga.

“We call on Nigerian Muslims to apply caution, decorum and rationalism in their reactions to this development. We advise them to remain law abiding.

“As we take a break, we invite FG to revoke the licence given to Bishop Oyedepo to build an airstrip. This is necessary in order to restore the confidence of Nigerian Muslims in the system, ensure impartiality and bridge the wide gap of mutual suspicion between Christians and Muslims. This airstrip poses grave danger to national security.”

Northern Youths Lament State Of The Nation, Says Nigeria No Longer Working

Jamil Charanchi

By Akinwale Kasali

As the economic fortunes of the nation continue to dwindle with no respite in sight, a Northern Youth Group under the auspices of Coalition of Northern Youth Group, has decried the impact of the recent devaluation of the Naira, inflation, petroleum subsidy removal, increase in electricity tariffs, and insecurity, among others, on the conditions of living in Northern Nigeria.

The Group lamented that the country “is no longer working”, outlining the failures of formal and informal institutions, that has over the years compounded the challenges.

President of the Group, Jamil Charanchi in a statement said that the Northern Youths have no time to lament as it is crystal clear that the nation is in a serious and devastating state.

Charanchi added that Nigeria is no longer working and is no longer at ease, as People are suffering.

“People can no longer afford even one square meal. We are not talking about the three square meals per day.

“Insecurity is walking with two legs in the northern part of the country.”

At a one-day community engagement programme organized by the CNG Katsina State chapter under the theme: “Imperative of Popular Participation in Tackling Socio-Economic Challenges Bedeviling Nigeria Through Community Solutions”, Charanchi gave background on the informed decision for community engagement, saying the group has realized that leaders especially from the region are not ready to address the outlined problems, hence there was a need for them to take the bull by its horns in the contribution of the development of the region.

“Northern Nigeria, a region rich in cultural heritage, human and natural resources, holds significant potential for contributing to Nigeria’s development.

“Despite this, the region remains the least developed, grappling with drug abuse, youth restiveness, the collapse of social values, and high levels of poverty, unemployment, illiteracy, and insecurity, which translate socio-economic indices in relation to other regions.

“To tackle the region’s persistent challenges, the Coalition Northern Groups implemented several interventions, including a two-day roundtable insecurity in Northern Nigeria held in January 2024 at the Nigerian Air Resource Center in Abuja. Despite these efforts and some progress made, the North continues to experience a rise in banditry and other issues, indicating the need for increased commitment from all stakeholders to effectively address these problems,” Charanchi said.

He said “The recent devaluation of the Naira, inflation, petroleum subsidy removal, increase in electricity tariffs, and insecurity have further deteriorated the living conditions of the people.

“Millions of people lost their means of livelihood and wallowed in abject poverty. The consequences of these challenges have become more apparent during the recent violent national protests against hunger and general hardship, which have resulted in significant loss of life and destruction of public and private properties.

“In response to these pressing issues, the CNG recognizes that for decades, Northern Nigeria has been suffering from leadership decay, collapse of societal values, immorality, and lack of leadership values. These challenges have over the years culminated in a pervasive leadership crisis leading to poverty, unemployment, and illiteracy, evident in the high number of out-of-school children and insecurity across the North.”

He said the CNG believes that “there is a need for a paradigm shift from government-based to society-based solutions that would enable comprehensive assessment and a coordinated approach to

address the underlying causes of these challenges by the members of the community.”

Charanchi noted that the recent violent protest is a consequence of decades of failure by northern Nigeria’s political leadership to harness the potential of the region.

“At the same time, the failures of formal and informal institutions have over the years compounded the challenges. Hence, there is a need for collective action to address these challenges and promote development in the region.

“This engagement aims to examine the current state of affairs in Northern Nigeria, focusing on the rising moral decadence among our youths and, the socio-cultural and economic challenges facing the region. It seeks to highlight the critical need for increased community involvement in the management of their affairs,” he said.

Speaking during the event, the representative of Katsina State Governor and Commissioner for Information, Bala Zango said the administration of Governor Dikko Radda since coming on board initiated laudable programmes aimed at tackling the socio-economic development of the citizens.

“Governor Dikko Umar Radda, as part of efforts to bridge the gap, had initiated scholarships for indigent students in foreign lands to study medicine and AI among others.

“Katsina State has become a role model in tackling insecurity by creating a ministry for internal security, establishing and engaging over 1500 Community Watch Corps which solved the issue of insecurity to 70 per cent.

“Katsina also spent over N30 billion Naira on agriculture. Radda administration employed 7,000 teachers, renovation of schools with learning materials,” he said.

Enugu Govt Says Mortuary Tax Not Meant For Revenue

By Akinwale Kasali

The Enugu State Government has dismissed insinuations that the Mortuary Tax imposed by the Governor Peter Mbah led-Enugu State Government is targeted at generating revenue.

Emmanuel Nnamani, the Executive Chairman of the Enugu State Internal Revenue Service, ESIRS, stated that the Mortuary Tax is not meant to generate revenue but to discourage people from taking their dead ones to the mortuary.

Addressing the Mortuary Tax Circular sent to all the Mortuary Attendants in the State which stated that, “ESIRS in line with the provisions of section 34 of the Birth, Deaths and Burials Law Cap 15 Revised Laws of Enugu State 2004, hereby approves the implementation of Mortuary tax.

“The sum of N40.00 only is to be paid by owners of a corpse once it was not buried within twenty-four hours. The amount continues to count on a daily basis.

“Kindly ensure that owners of corpses make the payments before collection of the corpses for burial and then remit same to the ESIRS in any commercial bank under the mortuary tax in Enugu State IGR Account,” the circular said.

Reacting to concerns raised, Nnamani explained that the tax was not new to the state, adding that it was within the Enugu State Mortuary Tax Law which had been in existence for years

He also alleged that some social media users changed the date on the circular to make it look like a new thing, clarifying that the amount to pay was only N40, not N40,000.

“It is an indirect tax paid by mortuary owners, not deceased family and it is just N40, not N40,000. Since its introduction, nobody has been denied burying their dead ones.

“It means that that corpse stays in the mortuary for 100 days the mortuary is expected to pay to state a sum of N4000.

“The tax is not meant to generate revenue but to discourage people from taking their dead ones to the mortuary all the time,” Nnamani stressed.

“Until You Pay  Debt To God, You Will Not Get What You Want” – Archbishop To Ndigbo

0
Amos Madu

By Suleiman Anyalewechi

Until Ndigbo reflect, become sober, and seek the face of God, their serial marginalization in the political, and economic equation of the country will persist.

According to a retired Archbishop of Enugu Ecclesiastical Province, His Grace, the Most Rev, Amos Madu, the Igbo race is indebted to God, and without paying the debt ,its joy, happiness and sense of dignity will never be restored.

He spoke at a solemn Convocation organized by the  “Igwebuike Alaigbo” a Think Tank group at the weekend in Aba.

Speaking at the event which attracted many religious business political and traditional leaders from across the South East geo-political zone, Archbishop Madu, who delivered the keynote address insisted that tye problems of Ndigbo are rooted more in spirit than politics or any other perceived variables.

Most of the problems, ranging from marginalization, hatred by other components of the Nigerian project, and non recognition according to him are all direct consequences of the ingratitude displayed towards God by the Igbo who, against all evil plans, preserved them throughout the grueling Nigeria bloody civil war.

Speaking further at the solemn assembly which held at the Aba Town Hall the Headquarters of the Aba South Council, retired Archbishop Madu maintained that the travails of the Igbo race will come to end the very moment they rediscover themselves and make peace with God.

“The Bible says that we shall know the truth and the truth shall set us free. Whenever a man is sick, the first thing he does is  for diagnosis.

“It is only when the problems are diagnosed  that the doctor will prescribe drugs and the sick person will be well .

“There is time for everything. The time for war is gone. We now have a different time for peace. God has shown us what our problems are and we have to face the truth. The major part of the problems is our neglect of and ingratitude to God” Madu  stated.

He said that the Igbo displayed the highest act of ingratitude by pushing God to the background after graciously saving them from extinction during the civil war.

“On January 15, 1970, God remembered Ndigbo who were dying in large numbers during the war. Parents were crying on to God to bring the war to an end as they were watching their children die of kwashiorkor.

“The Children were crying, asking for God’s intervention. The cries were much.

“Nobody then was thinking about how to build factories, hotels, skyscrapers, and all that. We were only begging God to end the war.

“We ate things that were not initially part of our food as a people. After the cries, on January 15,1970, God ended the war.

“Take note, and let no body deceive you. It was not the Igbos that ended the war, and it was equally not Nigeria that ended the war and it was not any foreign power either.

“I tell my children today that it was God Almighty in his infinite mercy that heard our cries and ended the war just to preserve us.

“I plead with you to realize that God remembered us just as he remembered Hannah, Israelites and Noah”

Regrettably ,he noted that the problems of the people began as soon they placed material things above their respect for God.

“However, our problems started with our ingratitude. Igbo began to chase money and general wealth to endure they replaced what they had lost during the war.

Desire to meet up with material things of the world, made us forget what God did for us on January 15,1970” the Archbishop noted.

According to him,for the Igbo, to stand and be counted again in Nigeria, they must do the needful, by way of setting aside a special day of reconciliation with, and thanksgiving to God.

He insisted that Ndigbo, as a matter urgency need to make peace with God, and appreciate Him for not allowing them to be annihilated during the civil war.

“I tell you today that the Igbo are owing God. Hear me today. Ndigbo are heavily indebted to God, and we must pay that debt or we will never get what we want as a people.

“Yes individually, our people getting well educated, making money and acquiring wealth ,as well as making impacts in different walks of life owing to the grace of God.  But collectively, we are no where in Nigeria.

“Go to major cities across the globe ,you will see our wealth everywhere . But look at Nigeria of today, Igbo are not counted as anything.

:What is our crime ? What have we done to warrant being treated like nothing today despite all our efforts to make Nigeria better .

“The answer is that we have forgotten God and we are facing the consequences of ignoring God,” Archbishop Madu stated.

Jigawa Gov Suspends Aide For False Statement On Minimum Wage

Umar Namadi - Governor of Jigawa State

By Ayodele Oni

For raising false alarm on the new minimum wage, Jigawa state Governor Umar Namadi, has suspended his Special Adviser on Salary and Pensions, Alhaji Bashir Ado.

Ado was reported to have released an unapproved statement regarding a N70,000 minimum wage.

The statement claimed that the Governor had approved a new minimum wage for state workers. This sparked concern within the Government.

According to Bala Ibrahim, Secretary to the State Government, the decision to suspend Ado was due to the misleading nature of the information.

“The government is taking this matter seriously, and an investigation committee has been constituted to look into the premature statement.

“This sounds embarrassing and premature as the committee headed by the Head of the State Civil Service, set up by the government to advise on the appropriate wage, is yet to complete its assignment and submit a report.”

A committee, chaired by Attorney-General Bello Abdulkadir Fanini, has been tasked with investigating the origin, content, and motive behind the statement.

The committee has two weeks to submit its findings, and Ado’s suspension will remain in place pending the outcome.

Ibrahim further revealed that the Commissioners for Information, Youth, Sports, and Culture, Sagir Musa; Health, Dr. Abdullahi Muhammad; and Permanent Secretary of Establishment and Service Matters, Office of the SSG, Muhammad Yahaya Jabo, have been appointed as members of the committee.

The Permanent Secretary of REPA, Abba Mustapha Yola, will serve as the committee’s secretary.

Ondo’s Minimum Wage Increase, A Political Carrot,  Bait – PDP

Lucky Aiyedatiwa

By Ayodele Oni

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has again hit at the state government, describing the N73,000 newly approved minimum wage for the workers as a ‘ Greek Gift’ warning them to be careful.

Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa had on Saturday announced that government had approved N73,000 as new minimum wage for the workers.

It was during the flag off of his campaign for the November election in Ondo city.

Reacting to the offer, the PDP insisted that it was a political statement which could not stand the test of time.

The statement, signed by Ayo Fadaka, spokesman for Agboola Ajayi Campaign Organization of the PDP stated that “We notice with amusement Governor Aiyedatiwa’s decision to raise the minimum wage in Ondo State from the federal government approved ₦70,000 to a paltry ₦73,000.

“This is obviously a hollow pretense that is calculated to present him as a workers’ friendly Governor,  an assumption which falls flat on his face when due cognisance is taken of his failure to do this increment many months back. The fact that is just doing this now is a mere pretence.

“In a brazen display of desperation, this marginal wage increment serves as a flimsy attempt to curry favor with the electorate, masking his administration’s colossal failures across every critical sector.

“It is a move that reeks of calculated deceit, aimed not at alleviating the suffering of the people, but at securing their votes through shallow tokenism.

“A leader who genuinely cares about the welfare of his people would have long since addressed the root causes of Ondo State’s challenges—poverty, unemployment, and the decay of essential services.

“His administration has been defined by neglect, indifference, and a stark lack of empathy for the plight of the common man,  rather than champion sustainable development and meaningful progress.

“He has opted to dangle this meager wage increase as a political carrot, a last-ditch effort to manipulate and hoodwinked the electorate in pursuit of his selfish political survival.

“What makes Aiyedatiwa’s actions particularly wicked is the timing of this so-called wage hike, after months of inertia and complete disregard for the struggles of the workers who keep the state functioning.

“This insulting small increase is now paraded as an act of benevolence, the reality, however, is as clear as day: this cynical strategy is designed not to improve the lives of the hardworking people of Ondo State, but to salvage the political ambitions of a governor who has failed them at every turn.

“While Aiyedatiwa attempts to use this meager raise as political bait, the grim truth remains unchanged.

“The teeming Civil Servants in Ondo State see this latest promise about a new minimum wage increment as another Greek gift to hoodwink unsuspecting members of Ondo State civil service into voting for him.

“The timing is ill-conceived, and nobody is going to take him seriously because he has deceived the civil service once, and they won’t allow him to deceive them one more time – Once bitten, twice shy!”
