Rivers Council Election: IPAC Directs Political Parties To Boycott Exercise

0
Rivers State Electoral Commission - RISEC

By Suleiman Anyalewechi

The Inter-Party Advisory Council IPAC, has formally declared that political parties under its umbrella will not be participating in the scheduled Rivers State Local Council Election.

The Source reports that the Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission, RSIEC, has fixed August 30, 2025, for the conduct of elections to elect officials for the State’s 23 Local Government Areas.

An earlier exercise held on October 5, 2024, by  suspended Governor Similanayi Fubara, was earlier this year, annulled by the Supreme Court for failing to satisfy the provisions of  extant laws and regulations.

But in a statement from its National Chairman, Dr Yusuf Mamman Dantalle, the IPAC described the planned Local Council Polls as “illegal, unconstitutional and a mockery of democracy.”

According to the IPAC, the Rivers State Sole Administrator, Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas, has no constitutional powers to conduct a democratic election.

Dr Dantalle maintained that as long as the country is not under any Martial Law, there is no way they will participate in a democratic election being conducted by an unelected official.

The IPAC National Chairman informed that the leadership of all political parties under it have been adequately notified of the resolution to boycott the planned Local Council Election.

He insisted that no amount of  propaganda and intimidation by political hirelings will obviate the illegality of the proposed exercise.

Dantalle noted that the primary purpose of declaring a state of emergency is to restore normalcy and peace in Rivers State and not to conduct democratic elections.

“The proposed Local Government election in Rivers state is illegal , unconstitutional and a mockery of our emerging democracy.

“It is totally unacceptable and should be rejected by all lovers of constitutional governance in Nigeria.

“The Sole Administrator has no constitutional mandate to conduct a democratic election as if the nation is under a military regime.

“Only an elected Governor has the constitutional powers to conduct a Local Government Election in collaboration with the State House of Assembly.

“The Sole Administrator cannot arrogate to himself powers in flagrant violation of the 1999 Constitution, as amended. The Sole Administrator is not an Emperor with absolute power to rule as he pleases.

” Gathering political hirelings who claim to be Chairmen of their political parties in Rivers State to endorse the conduct of the purported Local Government Election smacks of desperation by the Sole Administrator.

“Fake Chairmen cannot give legitimacy to gross illegality, unconstitutionality and abuse of office”, the IPAC National Chairman stated .

Dantalle, while reaffirming IPAC’s  total rejection of the exercise, also declared its unwavering commitment towards consolidating and deepening democracy in the country.

To this end,  he emphasized the readiness of the umbrella body of all registered political parties in the country to resist any attempt to undermine Nigeria’s hard earned democracy by some anti-democratic forces.

The Source further reports that  some political parties in Rivers state, including the ADC, Action Peoples Party, APP ,and others had last week informed that they will be shunning the Local Council Polls in deference to a directive from the National bodies of IPAC ,and their various parties.

While speaking with the Media in Port Harcourt ,the Rivers State Chairman of APP, Sunny Wokekoro, disclosed that all the parties have been advised to boycott the polls.

The IPAC National leadership had in a letter dated August 1,2025 , addressed to the Rivers State Sole Administrator Ibas, rejected the planned Local Council Election in the State.

In the letter which was  also copied to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the leadership of the National Assembly and all the National Heads of the country’s security agencies, IPAC had warned against any acts capable of  ridiculing the nation’s democracy.

Curiously, a few days after  IPAC made its position known, as well as communicating  same to the leadership of political parties across the State, some individuals claiming to be Chairmen of parties in Rivers state gathered to give a stamp of approval to the planned election.

No More New Universities As FG Suspends Establishment  For Seven Years

Dr Tunji Alausa

By Ayodele Oni

Decayed infrastructure in Universities and paucity of fund have compelled the Federal Executive Council (FEC), to embargo establishment of new Federal Universities, Polytechnic, and Colleges of Education nationwide.

The suspension will last seven years, according to the Minister for Education, Tunji Alausa.

Alausa, said the decision takes effect immediately and is designed to address falling academic standards and infrastructure deficiencies in Nigeria’s tertiary education sector.

“The freeze aims to channel resources into revitalising existing institutions rather than creating new ones.”

Speaking to State House correspondents after the FEC meeting in Abuja presided over by President Bola Tinubu,  Alausa stressed that the proliferation of Federal institutions had overstretched available resources.

“Access to tertiary education is no longer the issue. The challenge is the duplication of institutions, which has stretched resources thin and compromised quality.”

Official figures show that Nigeria currently operates 72 Federal Universities, 42 Federal Polytechnics, and 28 Federal Colleges of Education, in addition to state-owned and private institutions.

Yet, for the 2024/2025 academic year, 199 universities received fewer than 100 applicants via the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), with 34 recording zero applications.

Polytechnics and Colleges of Education also saw alarming numbers, with 295 Polytechnic and 64 Colleges reporting critically low or no applications.

Dr. Alausa highlighted one Federal University with fewer than 800 students, but over 1,200 staff, calling it a clear example of unsustainable resource use.

“The decision supports President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which prioritises delivering education that meets global standards.”

Alausa pointed out that the moratorium period will be used to improve infrastructure, enhance staff recruitment and training, and increase the capacity of existing schools.

In a related move, FEC approved the licensing of nine new private universities, based on pending applications previously delayed at the National Universities Commission (NUC).

Of 551 applications inherited by the current administration, only 79 remained active, with nine meeting the requirements.

Dr. Alausa indicated that a similar moratorium on private universities might be considered in future to safeguard quality.

Meanwhile, the government has allocated ₦110 billion through the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) for 18 specialised health universities, marking a targeted approach to addressing key sectoral needs.

Emmanson May Be Compensated As Fresh Facts Emerge On Fracas With Ibom Air Crew

Ibom Air Bans Passenger For Life
Ibom Air

By Ayodele Oni

Comfort Emmanson, the Ibom Air Passenger, accused of breaching aviation laws, which led to her remand in prison on the orders of a Lagos Magistrate Court, may laugh last, going by emerging fresh facts.

A new evidence may lead to a review of Emmanson’s case, potentially leading to compensation for the trauma and humiliation she suffered. The young lady was stripped as she was being dragged down the aircraft, and photographs and video taken of her, which indecently exposed her body, posted for public viewing.

Emmanson, who was also allegedly assaulted and humiliated by Ibom Air officials, after a dispute over turning off her phone on a flight, was released from custody on Wednesday following the Federal Government’s intervention in the five charges preferred against her, and their subsequent withdrawal.

According to Michael Achimugu, Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection at the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), a passenger seated next to Ms Emmanson on the flight has come forward with his account of the events which may shed new light on the incident.

The witness, who Achimugu said  has provided his boarding pass to verify his presence on the flight, has a different version of the events that transpired on the aircraft before departure.

Achimugu stated that the NCAA has, therefore, issued a Letter of Investigation (LOI) to Ibom Air and will invite both the airline and eyewitnesses to a meeting to get to the bottom of the incident.

“Sequel to this, the passenger seated right next to the lady in the viral videos has contacted me (also sent in his boarding pass) and given his account of the events that transpired on the aircraft before departure.

“Some aspects of his testimony offer an opportunity to look at other perspectives of this case, especially the behaviour of other actors involved, and the manner of passenger handling before the flight took off.

“Although he says he will release a statement later, the Authority has issued an LOI to Ibom Air and will invite both the airline and eyewitnesses to a meeting.

“The Honourable Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development and the NCAA has a remarkable record of protecting the rights of all stakeholders in this industry and will continue to do so.

“One is glad that a truly verifiable witness has come forward, and his statement makes me glad not to have listened to most of the fake audios and claims flying around social media.”

Achimugu also assured that every culpable party involved in the incident will be held accountable, which may include airline staff and security personnel.

“There is a lot to unbundle, and we will get to the root of it. Rest assured that every culpable party in this case will be held accountable.”

The new evidence may lead to a review of Emmanson’s case, potentially resulting in compensation for the trauma and humiliation she suffered.

The NCAA’s investigation may also lead to changes in the way airlines handle passenger disputes, prioritising human dignity and rights.

The incident has sparked widespread outrage, with many calling for Ibom Air to apologise and compensate Emmanson for her ordeal.

In a show of solid support from her community, the Grand Council of Ikpaisong Ibibio has condemned the treatment given to their daughter,  Emmanson, and is demanding justice and respect for human dignity.

As the investigation unfolds, it remains to be seen how the airline and regulatory authorities will respond to the new evidence and the growing public outcry.

Airline Operators May Appoint Emmanson As Ambassador

Comfort Emmanson - Passenger on Ibom Air

By Ayodele Oni

The Airline Operators of Nigeria (AON) are looking at the option of using Comfort Emmanson, as their own Ambassador for good passenger conduct.

The Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo who revealed this, said since Emmanson has also shown remorse, Aviation Agencies are considering using her, like Wasiu Ayinde, for the role in order to prevent others from engaging in such act.

The Minister stated this via his X while clarifying the reason the agency appointed Wasiu Ayinde, popularly known as K1 De Ultimate, as an Ambassador.

He wrote, “For further clarification, it is common practice all over the world that a repentant offender is made to preach publicly against the exact conduct from which he has repented. It is akin to Community Service.

“It is not paid for and it is voluntary service. Unfortunately, in Nigeria, some would assume that once you hear the word ‘Ambassador’ it is a big position that comes with the perquisites of office.

“No, it is not. It is for free. It is not the first time it is happening in Nigeria and it will not be the last . Examples abound of such roles given to repentant persons by previous governments in Nigeria.

“Whilst the Aviation agencies are considering using KWAM 1 for such a role, in my discussion last night with the Airline Operators of Nigeria (AON), they are also looking at the option of using Ms. Comfort Emmanson, who has also shown remorse, as their own Ambassador for good passenger conduct.

“It is left for the AON to work out those details since she has been actually released from prison custody today based on my earlier statement.

“Whilst the usual suspects can continue to question our decisions on this issue, we firmly believe we have been fair to all.”

Kano Assembly Orders LG Chairman To Step Aside

Kano State House of Assembly

By Ayodele Oni

For flouting State Government’s directive on sale of fertilizer, the Kano State House of Assembly has slammed a three-month suspension on the Chairman of Rano Local Government Council, Muhammad Nazir Yau.

Apart from inflating cost of fertilizer by N2,000, the Chairman was also accused of financial recklessness, and abuse of office.

The Lawmakers reached the decision on Wednesday after receiving an interim report from the House Committee on Public Petition, chaired by Majority Leader Hussaini Lawan  Yangurasa.

He was also accused of mismanaging revenues from markets and cattle levies, illegally allocating market stalls, disrespecting party elders, and diverting council funds.

According to the Committee, Yau denied most of the allegations during a meeting with investigators on August 11 but admitted to raising the fertiliser price by ₦2,000.

Citing Section 55 of the Kano State Local Government Law 2006, the Assembly ordered him to step aside to allow for a full investigation and directed the Ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs to install the vice chairman as acting chairman.

The council must also submit all financial and administrative records within seven days.

The Speaker, Ismail Falgore, presided over the plenary that adopted the committee’s recommendations.

It would be recalled that in June, Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf launched the distribution of 132 trucks of subsidised fertiliser to farmers across all 44 local government areas.

At the event in Madobi, the governor warned council bosses against diverting or inflating prices, insisting the fertiliser should be sold at half the market rate to genuine farmers.

“We will not tolerate any form of exploitation in this process,” Yusufsaid at the time.

Ibom Air vs Emmanson: I Was On The Plane; Ogebe SAN Narrates What Happened

0
David Ogebe and Emmanson Comfort
By David Ogebe
So, I was on the now infamous Ibom Air flight from Uyo to Lagos on 10 August 20225 at 1:20pm. I sat on seat 14B, the aisle seat on the left side of the emergency exit row of the Plane. Miss. Emmanson sat across the aisle immediately to my right on the corresponding emergency exit row aisle seat (that should be seat 14C or D depending on how the seats were numbered). Considering it was a small aircraft, it could be said that we sat about two feet apart, so I was privy, first hand, to all that transpired prior to take off, and upon landing until I exited the plane before the entire drama began. I will detail hereunder what transpired, suffice to say, at no time did Miss. Emmanson refuse to switch off her phone for take off.
Disclaimer
It is important to state that prior to meeting Miss. Emmanson on the aircraft by pure happenstance, I had never met her before. She is a complete stranger to me. In the same vein I have never met any of the Ibom Air hostesses before Friday, to the best of my knowledge, and I am only speaking out now out of a moral duty and civic responsibility to speak the truth so that everyone, whether highly placed or not, highly connected or not, can be treated fairly and justly in all circumstances. I must also state immediately that I do not condone or endorse the acts of violence and disorderliness exhibited by Miss. Emmanson as seen in various videos circulating in the media space. It is not justified.
Unjustified Humiliation and Provocation By Ibom Air Hostess
There were only two air hostesses on the plane which I presume to be as a result of the size of the plane. One of the hostesses approached us and gave us the regular briefing for passengers sitting on the emergency exit. This hostess was exceptionally kind, polite and amiable. I will refer to her henceforth as hostess 1. After the briefing she asked Miss. Emmanson politely twice to switch off her phone. I noticed thereafter that Miss. Emmanson was fiddling with her phone with some uncertainty.
After hostess 1 left to continue her duties, hostess 2 came with an almighty huff and told Miss. Emmanson to switch off her phone with a very high voice. Miss. Emmanson in a low voice tried to explain to hostess 2 that the buttons on her phone for switch off were not working so she did not know how to switch off the phone. Hostess 2 rebuffed her and kept insisting that she switches off the phone. Hostess 2 then told her that the phone she was holding was an iPhone which did not require buttons to switch off. The lady now asked the hostess to assist her switch off the phone and hostess 2 replied “I am not touching your phone”.
Hostess 2 now told her to go to settings and from there click on general. The lady now responded in an even lower voice saying “please I cannot read and don’t know what you said I should do. Can you just help me?” Hostess 2 now retorted “Please I don’t have time for your nonsense. Better switch off that phone immediately”.
The gentleman sitting to my left in seat 14A and I were flabbergasted when we heard this and could not believe that an air hostess could speak so condescendingly and unnecessarily humiliate a passenger, perhaps because she was a single female. We then intervened and asked the gentleman sitting next to the lady by the window of her row to assist her. He collected the phone and was assisting her. Miss. Emmanson then started asking hostess 2 if there was anything wrong with being unable to read and why she had to humiliate her like that to the whole public. Hostess 2 now told Miss. Emmanson to keep quiet or else she would deal with her. At this point Miss. Emmanson started cursing and told her she could do nothing to her. Hostess 2 then said “ok, you will see” then she left in a puff and proceeded to the cockpit and never came back.
Some passengers sitting afar who did not know what truly transpired were shouting for Miss. Emmanson to switch off her phone. However, the passenger in seat 14A and I rose up stoutly and defended her and when they heard our explanations they all calmed down and the flight took off.
Airborne
Throughout the flight Miss. Emmason was upset and simmering. She kept on discussing the situation with the gentleman on her right till the plane landed. She was obviously quite annoyed. I also noticed that Hostess 2 kept peeping at our row throughout the flight. She stayed upfront in the plane most of the time if I recollect correctly.
Hostess 1 on the other hand was completely oblivious of the raging storm (at least I thought so) and was kind, polite and professional throughout. Hostess 1 gave extra water to Miss. Emmanson when she asked for it in-flight and also helped her with bringing out and returning her food tray when snacks were served and also as we were approaching landing. Hostess 1 also helped put away some of Miss. Emmanson’s things in the cabin above before landing.
Disembarkation
Once the plane landed, the gentleman in seat 14A and I joked that we had better get out quickly before a war breaks out. We both expressed hope that nothing happened as we disembarked. Disembarkation was being done row by row and just before it got to our turn, Miss. Emmanson exited her seat to the back of the plane and I presumed she went to the toilet. We happily disembarked and I forgot all about the spat in the plane until I started seeing all the videos and statements flying unabatedly. I hope the other gentlemen who witnessed this unfortunate incident on row 14 along with me will speak up and corroborate all I have said, which is the truth. I am ready to stand by all I have said here and will be glad to stand as a witness if need be for Miss. Emmanson.
Conclusion
Miss. Emmanson never at any time refused to switch off her phone for take-off.
Hostess 2 acted very poorly and inflamed a rather simple and small matter. And this is putting it mildly.
Hostess 1 was exceptional and if she were the one that handled the entire episode, this would not have happened.
Ibom Air needs to do better in training their staff to learn to be sensitive and empathetic where necessary.
Miss. Emmanson’s reactions, though founded on grave unwarranted humiliation and provocation, have no place in any sane society and should not be encouraged.

“I Am In Pains” – Ms. Emmanson, Ibom Air Passenger, Speaks For First Time On Release From Prison

Comfort Emmanson - Passenger on Ibom Air

By Adesina Soyooye

Comfort Emmanson, the Passenger on Ibom Air, whose altercation and physical attack on Sunday, with the Airline’s Crew, Ground Staff and Airport Security, earned her an arrest, arraignment in Court, and a remand at the Kirikiri Prisons, has spoken for the first time. “I am in pains due to the way I was treated”, she said. She also said her first action now is to go to a hospital for medical attention.

She spoke after her discharge by an Ogba, Lagos, Magistrate Court following the withdrawal of the five-count charge earlier preferred against her by the Federal Government.

The FG had, in a surprise, but popular, move ordered her release following a strong backlash over the way her case was handled.

On release, she was whisked away by her friends who used their palms to cover her face to avoid the many photographers who were falling over themselves to get her photograph.

In a post on her Instagram page, Ms. Emmanson wrote: “Thank you so much for all the prayers, love and support. I’ve been released from the prison, but I’m still in pains due to how I was treated. I just need some rest and medical treatment before I give out my own version of the event. Thank you so much my lovely friends and supporters. I really  appreciate y’all from the button of my heart. God bless you y’all. THANK YOU MY GREAT GOD.!!!”

Anambra State Assembly Bye Election: Why Obi Is Supporting ADC Candidate. – Media Office

0
Peter Obi in London
Mr Peter Obi

The Peter Obi Media Reach, POMR, has give clarified  why the Labour Party leader and the 2023 Standard bearer, Peter Obi, is throwing his weight behind the African Democratic Congress, ADC, candidate in Saturday’s Anambra State Assembly Bye Election.

In a statement, the POMR Spokesperson, Ibrahim Umar, said the clarification became necessary following the mix-up in the public space over Obi’s choice ahead of the Labour Party.

The POMR statement reads in part: “Firstly, the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has not been able to sort out Labour Party issues in this election.

As at the time of issuing this statement, LP has no candidate in Saturday’s bye election slated all over the country.

“And secondly, the ADC candidate is the wife of the late Labour Party state Assembly member Hon. Justice Azuka, who died in the hands of kidnappers in February this year.

“The leadership of both ADC and LP, as well as the Labour Party Senator and House of Representatives member Tony Nwoye and Afam Ogene, respectively, on compassionate grounds, deemed it fit that the capable wife should go ahead to complete the tenure of her husband.

“Where issues of candidates are not in dispute, Obi always supports Labour Party flag bearers, as in the November gubernatorial poll, where our Principal’s candidate is indisputably Chief George Moghalu of the Labour Party.

“By this clarification, it lays to rest the confusion in the minds of the public, as the situation has not in any way changed Obi’s leadership of the Labour Party and his membership of the Coalition.

“We, therefore, need to underscore the fact that Obi’s mission for a new Nigeria driven by competence, capacity and character is course and Possible.”

Hope Uzodimma and Comrade Ezenwa Adiuku

Governor Hope Uzodimma has congratulated Comrade Ezenwa Adiuku on his emergence as the Vice President of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), the first Imo State indigene to be so elected in such position.

Adiuku was elected at a bye-election held Tuesday, August 12, 2025 in Kano by the National Executive Council (NEC) of the NUJ to fill the vacant position for the South East (Zone C).

He was unanimously nominated, voted and returned unopposed to emerge the Vice President of the body in charge of the South East by the entire South East delegates who participated during the bye-election.

During the Triennial Delegates Conference held in Owerri last year, most of Adiuku’s colleagues who showed interest in the position were found not qualified, hence the position was pronounced vacant.

Adiuku was, before his election as Vice President, the Zonal Secretary of the NUJ for the South East.

A statement by Oguwike Nwachuku, Chief Press Secretary/Special Adviser Media to Governor Uzodimma said his principal feels greatly enamoured that Imo State media practitioners in Nigeria are contributing enormously to the growth and development of the nation, and by so doing, helping to sustain democratic governance in the country.

Governor Uzodimma said it was heartwarming to note that Adiuku’s  colleagues, both from the South East and at the national level, repose huge trust in his ability to lead them in the capacity he had been elected, and that he was prepared to leave behind a legacy of service that those coming after him will be glad to emulate and sustain.

While encouraging Adiuku to be magnanimous in victory, by carrying along all his colleagues in matters concerning their welfare, professional advancement and relationship with government and development partners, Governor Uzodimma assured him of the preparedness of his administration to work closely with him and his colleagues to serve Imo State in particular better, and at large, Nigeria and the society.

He said as the first Imo indigene to occupy the exalted position of Vice President of the NUJ, Adiuku cannot afford to disappoint the expectation of his colleagues, his family and the State, reminding him that he now carries the burden of being the Imo Ambassador in the office he occupies.

“Go and do Imo proud in the office you have been elected. Be exemplary in your thoughts, acts and actions, and posterity will be kind to you.”

By his election, Adiuku oversees activities of practicing journalists under the umbrella of the NUJ in the South East (Zone C) and serves as their eye at the national level of the body where the NEC and the Central Working Committee (CWC) members are regarded as the decision making organ of the NUJ.

Adiuku, an alumnus of the University of Calabar and International Institute of Journalism, also edits the Independent Voice Online Newspaper.

“Not a few people have slammed Governor Charles Soludo for allowing his Party, APGA, field a candidate against the widow of Hon. Azuka who was abducted and murdered under his watch”

The 2023 Presidential candidate of the Labour Party,  LP , Peter Obi has thrown his weight behind the quest by the wife of slain Anambra law maker Mrs Justina Azuka to replace her late husband.

Obi, on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, called on all well-meaning people, both within and outside the Onitsha North I State Constituency, to rally behind her ambition during the forthcoming State Assembly by-election in the State.

The Source reports that Hon. Justice Azuka was on the eve of 2024 Christmas abducted by gunmen while on his way home .

The decomposing remains  of the Legislator who represented Onitsha North I State Constituency in the Anambra’ State House of Assembly on the platform of LP, was later recovered close to the Second Niger Bridge in Onitsha after some weeks.

His wife, however, is in  the race to succeed her late husband on the platform of the emerging opposition Coalition, African Democratic Congress ADC ,with the LP followers believed to be fully in support of her ambition.

Writing on his official X site , Obi, who was recently spotted campaigning for the late Lawmaker’s wife for the August 16, by-election, wearing branded ADC cap, expressed his support and full understanding of the ambition of Mrs Azuka.

”Today, I visited Mrs Justina Azuka, who recently suffered the tragic and gruesome loss of her husband, Hon Justice Azuka, in the hands of kidnappers.

“In the face of this unimaginable pain , Mrs Azuka has chosen the path of service , stepping forward to contest the Onitsha North I state Constituency seat in the House of Assembly, to serve the remaining 13 months of her late husband’s tenure.

“She is a young mother of three–the eldest just 7 years old and the others 5 and 3.

“I have always maintained that leadership without compassion is meaningless. True leadership must balance competence with humanity .

“Mrs Azuka is an HND graduate in Public Administration -qualified , competent ,a woman of strength , resilience and commitment to service.

“I call on all well-meaning citizens, at home and beyond ,to rally behind her candidacy.  Supporting her is not only an investment in competent representation, but also a collective act of solidarity that will help ease the pain ,and heavy burden of her loss .

“She has my full support, and I urge us all to stand together to ensure that this capable and committed daughter of ours is elected on Saturday August 16,2025.

“In doing so, we send a clear message that in the new Nigeria ,we will be compassionate ; we will care for one another in times of difficulty, and we will uphold justice alongside competent leadership”, Obi stated .

Although officially flying the flag of ADC ,Mrs Justina is said to be the adopted candidate of the LP in next Saturday ‘s Bye-election.

Followers of the two political parties are said to have resolved to work together to ensure that she emerges victorious.

Not a few people have slammed Governor Charles Soludo for letting his Party, All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, to field a candidate against the widow of the late Honourable Azuka who was abducted and murdered under his watch.
