Popular Lagos Monarch, Osolo Of Isolo, Oba Kabiru Agbabiaka Dies, Buried

Oba Kabiru Agbabiaka, the Osolo of Isolo in Isolo Local Council Development Area of Lagos State is dead.

He passed on, suddenly, a few hours after observing the Eid El Fitri Prayers, full of life, exchanging pleasantries at the Prayer ground

Oba Agbabiaka was said to have returned and joined his forebears in a surprising circumstance.

Confirming the death of the Monarch, the Chairman of Isolo Local Council Development Area, Olasoju Adebayo, issued a statement in that regard.

According to the statement, the deceased Monarch was  buried by 4pm, in accordance with Islamic rites.

The statement read, “I have the instruction of the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, to formally announce the passing of the paramount ruler of Isolo Kingdom, Oba Kabiru Agbabiaka, Adeola Olushi III, today April 10, 2024. He was aged 64. May his soul rest in peace.” Olasoju did not disclose the cause of his death.

Until his demise, he was 64 years of age and a highly respected Monarch in Lagos State.
