Popular Broadcaster, Actress, Lara Olubo Is Dead

The Nigeria Media and Nollywood have lost one Lara Olubo.

The famous television presenter, actress, fashion designer, and musician, died on Saturday, July 27, 2024, after a brief illness.

Olubo is known for her vibrant presence on screen and her exceptional skills in presenting in Yoruba, saw her become a household name on Orisun TV.

Her programs, including Miliki Express, Eto Baba Eto, and Oju Oja, garnered widespread acclaim and a dedicated following.

She also made notable contributions to the Yoruba film industry with her appearances in various movies.

The details surrounding Lara Olubo’s demise remain sparse, with no official cause of death provided, but it was gathered that she had been sick for some days before she passed on.

She had, also, appeared in several Nollywood movies.

Her colleagues in the Media and in the movie industry have been paying tributes to her and have yet to come to terms with her sudden demise.

The Family is yet to announce her burial arrangement.
