Hundeyin informed that the Benue State Commissioner of Police, CP Innocent Ifeanyi Emenari, is presently leading the coordinated campaign to rescue the missing Police Officers, as well as bring to justice the perpetrators of the heinous crime.
Meanwhile, the police spokesperson stated that the arrested suspects are currently in custody, assisting with useful information that can aid investigations.
This is as CP Emenari assured that no efforts will be spared in restoring peace and stability to the beleaguered parts of Benue state which has, of recent, been ravaged by an orgy of violent attacks and killings.
Consequently, the Police urges members of the general public to always volunteer credible intelligence that could lead to the tracking down of the remaining fleeing suspects, and dismantling of the criminal networks that have held the people hostage.
