As Children’s Day is being celebrated in Nigeria, which comes up on 27th May of every year, the Labour Party, (LP) presidential candidate in the 2023 Presidential Election, Peter Obi, has decried the persistent child labour practices in Nigeria.

In a post on his X handle on Monday to celebrate the 2024 Children’s Day, Obi said more effort should be channeled toward pulling more Nigerians out of poverty and ensuring the rights of every Nigerian child.
