The three-man panel led by Justice Tertse Kume had two weeks ago entertained the final written addresses of counsels to the plaintiff, the first respondent – the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), 2nd respondent – Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the third respondent – Governor Adeleke.

According to Nigeria’s electoral laws, the verdict of the tribunal may be challenged up to the Supreme Court.
