Following the death of former Governor Abiola Ajimobi’s burial last Sunday, many had thought that he would be allowed to rest with his Maker, until his wife, Florence threw up a controversy with the state government, over its refusal to be actively involved in the ex-governor’s interment .
Yet many thought that the demised senator has been allowed to rest after the furore between his widow and the Governor Seyi Makinde’s administration, until yet fresh dust was raised by his daughter-in-law, Fatima Ganduje-Ajimobi, the daughter of Kano state governor Abdullahi Ganduje.
Fatima who is married to Idris Ajimobi has starred the hornet’s nest after engaging in a brawl with a twitter user, Segun Awosanya, on the controversial land issue between the state government and the late governor.

Governor Makinde had refused to allow his predecessor to be buried in a plot of land at Agodi GRA, acquired by Ajimobi but has now become a court matter.
Tweeting, on the subject, Awosanya said “I don’t know how many people are glad to know that Seyi Makinde, the Governor of Oyo State cannot be guilt-tripped into endorsing a heist wrapped in emotions at the expense of the beleaguered people of Oyo State.
I’m personally happy he saw through the shenanigans.”
But Fatima, the only family member who dared to speak when the rumour of death of the ex-governor, first broke three weeks ago would not allow such tirade against his late father inlaw go without a response.
She fired back at Awosanya saying that comparing the incumbent with Ajimobi is like comparing death to sleep.
Makinde cannot stand shoulder to shoulder with Ajimobi, the angry daughter of Kano helmsman said.
Fatima said “Lol. Face with tears of joy half-truth is dangerous sha! SM can never ever ever come close to Ajimobi. Not your mate!!!”
Governor Makinde is referred to here as SM even though he’s well known as GSM.
The state government has refused the Ajimobis burial rights at the No 48 GRA, Agodi Ibadan, thereby drawing the ire of the ex-governors’ family.
The court will settle the matter of ownership of the land, Governor machined has said, adding that his government will not be blackmailed.
