At last, the Governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) in the October 10 election in Ondo State, Eyitayo Jegede, SAN, has expressed his dissatisfaction with the poll.
He has decided to challenge the victory of Govenor Rotimi Akeredolu, a fellow SAN, at the tribunal.
Joined in the petition are the Independent National Electoral Commission, (INEC), the All Progressives Congress, (APC) and the Deputy Govenor- elect, Lucky Aiyedatiwa.
Ifedayo Adedipe is the lead counsel for the Governorship candidate of the PDP.
Jegede is challenging the election on four grounds.
He said the election was marred by irregularities and pockets of violence and intimidation.
