The Inspector General of Police has ordered an investigation into the invasion of the home of Supreme Court Justice, Mary Peter-Odili, pledging to fish out and punish the perpetrators.

Odili’s home in Abuja was invaded by some men who were armed with a search warrant order signed  by a Magistrate, Emmanuel Iyanna.

The Magistrate  revoked the order a few hours later, and said he was deceived into issuing it.

The security team was alleged to have come from a group under the supervision of the Attorney General of the Federation, Abubskar Malami, SAN. But the AGF has denied knowledge of the invasion and has ordered a probe.

In the heat of the controversies, Hovernor of Rivers state, Nyesom Wike, alleging the invasion was meant to assassinate the Supreme Court Justice and her family, gave  the Federal Government 48 hours to fish out and punish perpetrators.
