The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Lagos State Council has commiserated with the family of Pa Richard Adeniyi, a veteran journalist, who died at age 86.
The late Adeniyi worked with many Newspapers including Daily Times where he was widely loved due to his commitment and hard work.
Pa Adeniyi, an active member of Maritime Reporters’ Association of Nigeria (MARAN) was able to carved a niche for himself through his reportage and immense contributions to Nigerian seaports.
He was a regular face at the monthly congress of NUJ Lagos Council and he was well respected for his vast knowledge on issues.
The Union wishes him eternal rest as his remains will be laid to rest in his country home, Ondo, Ondo State on Saturday, June 8, 2024.
