In a brazen theft which underscores the level of insecurity in the country, a vehicle attached to the office of the National Security Adviser, NSA, was stolen in Abuja on Friday.

The vehicle, a black Toyota Hilux was driven to a Mosque by an official of the Office of the NSA, and parked opposite the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) Complex, Area 10.

The official parked it there in order to observe Friday Juma’at prayers at a nearby Mosque at about 1.05pm.

After prayers, he came out only to see that the vehicle has taken a drive. It has been stolen.

Zagazola Makama, a Security Analyst, who made the news of the stolen vehicle public via his X page disclosed that a report was made immediately at about 2.00pm at the Garki Police Station.
