Top players in the maritime sector of Nigeria’s economy will next Tuesday storm Apapa for a one day talk shop on how to harness the potentials of logistics services for the nation’s burgeoning maritime sector.
The Managing Director of the Nigeria Ports Authority, NPA, Hadiza Bala-Usman and Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Shippers Council, Barr. Hassan Bello and other stakeholders are billed to attend the event organized by the foremost Maritime Reporters’ Association of Nigeria, MARAN.
According to the Secretary General of MARAN, Bayo Bernard, the talk shop themed” The Prospect and Challenges of Logistics Services as the Life-Wire of the Nigerian Maritime Sector is to create “a viable platform for vibrant discourse by industry stakeholders and other interested parties on the subject.
The MARAN scribe disclosed that the event would draw perspectives from terminal operators, logistic providers, regulatory agencies, freight forwarders as well as customs brokers.
Bernard added that Bala-Usman and Bello are on the panel of discussants.
The event will hold on Tuesday February 27, 2018 at the comfortable International Maritime Press Centre/ MARAN Secretariat, 23/27, Wharf Road, Atlantic House- 1st floor, Apapa, Lagos. Guest are expected to arrive the event early.
