The Nollywood industry has again lost another dynamic actor, Odunayo Olufemi, popular as Oloto.
His death comes less than 48 hours after that of popular Actress, Omotola Odunsi, who died Friday.
Announcing Oloto’s passing, Actor Kunle Afod, who disclosed that Oloto had gone to Church but later felt unwell.
According to him, Oloto then walked to a nearby hospital, and passed while he was still speaking to the hospital receptionist.
Friends and colleagues described his death as painful and shocking, and described the sudden passing of both Oloto and Odunsi as a heavy blow to the Nollywood and the Yoruba Movie industry.
The late Odunsi, a rising star in the Yoruba movie scene, died shortly after informing a colleague that she was recovering from an illness.
The actress, known for her role in Lisabi: The Uprising and other Yoruba films, reportedly began acting while studying at Olabisi Onabanjo University.
She was later trained under Odunlade Adekola and featured in several productions including Amonata, Officer Adaeze, and Ifedayo.
