Nollywood Actor of the Yoruba genre, Akinpelu Akeem, popularly known as ‘Ogun Majek’, is presently bedridden, incapacitated and dying.
The veteran Yoruba actor is down with a strange illness, which has left him impoverished, as he has spent millions of Naira to ascertain the cause of the illness, yet, it remains a mystery.
This has, however, led to the actor seeking for help from well-meaning Nigerians to come to his aid at this precarious time.
Foluke Daramola Salako’s socio-humanitarian foundation, PARA Africa, has put out a Save Our Soul message to solicit for support from any kind-hearted Nigerians to help him with funds for his medical treatment.
According to the Convener of Para Africa,”The Yoruba Nollywood veteran is dying of a critical ailment and he urgently needs the attention of government and humanitarian people in Nigeria for help on his health challenges”.
Daramola-Salako’s PARA Africa, launched last year has been helping and supporting many old generational actors in the industry in situations like this.
Beneficiaries of this foundation are the late Pa Kasumu, Pa Lere Paimo, Lanre Hassan popularly known as Iya Awero to mention a few.
PARA Africa ha been working to seek and build health insurance schemes to take care of the survival and the health challenges of her aged industry actors.
Daramola-Salako is therefore soliciting the supports of good Samaritans in Nigeria to help Alhaji Ogun Majek come out of his prevalent health challenges.
