Namadi Sambo, a former Vice President of Nigeria, has dumped his Party, the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, for the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.

Sambo was Nigeria’s Vice President under President Goodluck Jonathan from 2010 to 2015. He and Jonathan lost to then General Muhammadu Buhari and Professor Yemi  Osinbajo in the 2015 Presidential Election.

Before Jonathan picked him as his Vice President when he, Jonathan, became President on the passing of President Umaru Yar’adua, Sambo was serving his second term in office as the Governor of Kaduna State.
