Late Governor Ajimobi’s  Daughter, Bisola  Dies In UK

The family of late Governor Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo State and his lovely wife, Florence, has, again, been thrown Into mourning following the passing of his first child and eldest daughter, Bisola Kola-Daisi.

The 42-Year old  died in the United Kingdom after what waa said to be a brief illness.

The heartbreaking news of her passing came early Thursday morning, March 27, 2025.

The late Bisola was a  prominent figure in Nigeria’s luxury retail scene and a dedicated philanthropist.

She was not just known for her family legacy but also for her significant contributions to the business world.

As the Managing Director of Grandex Nigeria Ltd., a leading FMCG retail and wholesale chain established in 1984, and the founder of the prestigious Florence H. Luxury boutique, she carved out a name for herself in an industry often dominated by men.

Married to the well-respected Ibadan-born politician and Bank Executive Kolapo Kola-Daisi,

the late Bisola has three Children.

Taking to his Social Media handle, her husband expressed his devastation, stating: “The world has lost a shining star. Bisola was not just my wife, she was my partner in everything. Her spirit will live on in our children.”

Before her untimely death, Bisola served as a Special Adviser to Atiku Bagudu, Nigeria’s Minister of Budget and Planning, showcasing her commitment to public service and economic development.

Tributes have  been pouring in from friends and colleagues who described her as a beacon of light, always ready to lend a helping hand and inspire those around her.

Her vibrant personality and unwavering dedication to her work and family will be sorely missed.

The Ajimobi family is now faced with the unimaginable task of mourning their beloved daughter while honoring her legacy in both business and philanthropy.

The Family is yet to announce details regarding the funeral arrangements.

Bisola’s death is coming five years after his father (Senator Abiola Ajimobi) passed on.
