Lakurawa Kidnaps Kebbi Deputy Speaker

Honourable Samaila Bambu, Deputy Speaker, House of Assembly, Kebbi State, has been kidnapped by the blood-thirsty Lakurawa terrorists.

He was abducted Friday evening from his home town, Bagudo in Bagudu Local Government Area on the day new Service Chiefs appointed by President Bola Tinubu effectively took over commands.

Ahmed Idris, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor who spoke to Reporters on the sad incident said: “Yes, I just got the information about the alleged abduction of the Deputy Speaker in his hometown this evening (Friday evening). I am in touch with the Director of Security in the State.

“Once I get details of what transpired, I will alert you very soon on the Government’s position.

“I can assure you that the State Government is on top of the situation and will insure he is released safely.”
