The Lagos police command says its operatives have rescued the three abducted Fouani brothers.
The three abducted Fouani brothers have been rescued by the operatives of the Nigerian Police Force, NPF.
The magazine learnt that the businessmen were rescued using intelligence reports they gathered concerning their abductors, and where they took the abductees to following their abduction four days ago.
Though, the state police command has yet to give the details on how the brothers were rescued, it was learned that they were rescued after policemen working on their own intelligence and others gathered from other security agencies swooped on the criminals inside one of the creeks in the state.
The three brothers, Abbas Fouani, Youssef Fouani, and Amtal Fouani, were reportedly abducted around 6pm in Lagos on June 14.
Confirming their rescue, the spokesman for the state Police Command, Benjamin Hundeyin said the businessmen were snatched from their abductors by eagle-eyed Marine Police.
“They were rescued late last night in Orugbo Iddo. Our marine police with the support of the Nigerian Navy brought them to shore,” Hundeyin said.
The Fouani Brothers are the sole distributors of Life is Good, LG, products in Nigeria.
