Not a few insist that the incumbent re-election bid is threatened by the emergence of new political force that came from obscurity to prominence, he’s now being forced to take desperate measures to ensure that his second term bid is not scuttled by the wind of change blowing across the state.

The suprised loss of the All Progressives Congress, APC, at the February 25 Presidential Election in Lagos State to the Labour Party, LP, further sent fears into the ranks of the party, most especially Governor Sanwo Olu.

Interestingly, the popularity of LP Governorship Candidate, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour continue to grow by the day, sending jitters among the members of the ruling party.

In a desperate move not to lose the Center of Excellence to neither Rhodes-Vivour nor the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Governorship Candidate, Olajide Abdulazeez Adediran, Governor Sanwo Olu has also ordered the release of Impounded vehicles by the Lagos Task Force to their respective owners, free of charge.

Though, the Lagos State Government are saying they are doing this due to the cash crunch affecting the nation, not a few Lagos residents opine that this is being done for Governor Sanwo Olu to gain the electorates sympathy and cast their votes for him at the March 11 Gubernatorial Election.
