Former Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki, who was, also, a former two-time Governor of Kwara State, has tackled the Kwara State Governor, Abdulraham Abdulrazaq over his announcement on Friday that the State would discontinue the payment of pensions and other entertainments to former Governors and their Deputies.
Abdulrazaq said it was to avail his Government of more funds to attend to pressing financial needs.

In a tweet, Governor Abdulrazaq said the State needs all the Resources it can get to improve human capital Development.
“In line with our campaign mantra and the yearnings of our people, next week I will be sending a bill to the State House of Assembly to revoke the law awarding pension packages to former governors and former deputy governors in Kwara State.
“Our state needs all the resources it can get to improve our human capital development”, he tweeted.
