The Kwara State Commissioner for Special Duties, Aishatu Ahman Pategi, shocked the Governor, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, and her cabinet-colleagues when she suddenly resigned from office on Friday.
In her resignation letter, addressed to the Governor, she said it was time for her to move on to other things, thanking the Governor for finding her worthy of the appointment, and describing life as being in phases.
Part of her resignation letter reads: “I, Aisha Ahman Pategi, the out-going Commissioner for Special Duties, effective, from today, Fridag 28 Aug. 2020, humbly wish to formally announce my resignation from the cabinet of His Excellency, Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq”
She said she would now focus on new ideals.
It is not known why she resigned her appointment, but the speculation is that she may not have been having job satisfaction.
