“I want all the women to come out enmasse and cast their votes for me, including the youth who desire a prosperous Kogi State.

“What a man can do a woman can do better and make every Kogite benefit from the government. It will be an all inclusive governance that will be answerable to the people.

“Bello should start preparing his handover notes to me, because I am going to spring  a surprise at the polls. We say no to gender inequalities, a woman deserves to be on that seat to change the fortunes of the State for the better”, Akpoti said.

Akpoti, then, announced Engr. Khalid Adams Ogbeche, a Security Expert and Analyst, as her running mate.

She stressed that the need to make Ogbeche her running mate, is because  both of them are like-minds and have  an overwhelming support from Kogites since Bello has been rejected by the people.
