On Monday January 29, 2018, Dr. Samuel Chukwuemeka Kanu Uche Prelate Methodist Church of Nigeria, marks his 65th birthday anniversary with a thanksgiving service at the Methodist Church of Nigeria Opebi. A grand reception and book launch was later, held that day in his honors at the All Seasons Plaza Agidigbi, Lagos, family, friend, corporate Nigerians and well wishers celebrated with him.
