Governor Abdullahi Ganduje has announced Emir of Bichi Aminu Bayero as the new Emir of Kano, hours after Lamido Sanusi II was dethroned.
the new Emir is the son of late Emir Bayero.
The secretary to the state government, Usman Alhaji said the appointment takes immediate effect.
