Ekiti state Governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi has bemoaned the plight of Judges in Nigeria who are stagnant on a salary scale for ten years now, blaming this on inactivity of the National Judicial Council (NJC).
He has, therefore called on the NJC to wake up and commence upward review of salaries and allowances of Judicial workers.
The Governor made the call in Ado Ekiti on Monday at the swearing in of the new acting Chief Judge of Ekiti State, Justice John Oyewole Adeyeye.
