Anambra identified as worst culprit
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, has announced the release of the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME, results. The Board withheld the results of 39,834.
Professor Ishaq Oloyede, JAMB Registrar, made this disclosure during the official release of the 2025 UTME results at JAMB headquarters, Bwari, Abuja.
Oloyede revealed that the seizure of results was due to suspected examination malpractices. About 80 individuals are, also being probed for exam-related offences. Anambra State had the highest number of suspects.
It would be recalled that Oloyede had clarified that the performance statistics for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination are in line with results recorded over the past 12 years.
He emphasised, however, that such results are not unusual and align with historical patterns.
