The days of Super Eagles player, Alexander Iwobi, is set to be numbered with Merseyside Club, Everyone Football Club, following the arrival of Colombian loanee, James Rodriguez, from Real Madrid Football Club of Spain.
The arrival of Rodriguez means Iwobi might not get playing time with the Club he joined last season from Arsenal Football Club.
On arrival at Goodison Park, Everton, Iwobi managed to play less than 25 matches for the Club last season, scoring less than five goals, with few assists, and was injured towards the end of the season, failng in the peckinh order.
Coach Carlo Ancelotti kept faith in the Nigerian youngster last season, but he failed to get the confidence of the Coach, making the Italian tactician to look elsewhere for succour.
With Iwobi battling for a place in the team alongside Bernard, Theo Walcott, Ben Davies, Rodriguez, Gyfli Sigurdsson in the team, it seems Coach Ancelotti has lost confidence in the Nigerian. Iwobi, has therefore become a surplus to requirement.
Iwobi has been told to leave if he sees a Club ready to sign him on, as there seems to be no future for him in Everton.
His next destination is now a debate, as he wouldn’t want to leave England. Probably, Clubs from the English Second Tier, Skybet Championship or promoted teams to the Barclays English Premier League may Jostle for his signature.
