Reports say the retired Army Officer died in Abuja, Sunday night, of complications from COVID-19.

Reports say the retired Army Officer died in Abuja, Sunday night, of complications from COVID-19.
Kontagora was born in 1956.
Under the regime of Sani Abacha, he was the Military Administrator of Benue State between August 1996 and August 1998.
And during the Transitional Government of General Abdulsalami Abubarkar, he was the Military Administrator of Kano State between September 1998 and May 1999.
He, it was, who handed over power to former Kano State Governor, now Senator Rabiu kwankwaso on May 29, 1999.
His remains will be buried in Kano on Monday.
