Asari Dokubo, a former leader of the Niger Delta Peoples’ Volunteer Force, NDPVF has slammed Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB for promoting religious intolerance in the country.
The repentant militant also accused Kanu of abandoning the Biafran struggle, calling him out for describing Nigerian pastors evil.
According to Dokubo, one of the plans of IPOB is to kill all Christians and Muslims in the country in order to established a Jewish state.
While Kanu has professes the Jewish faith, Dokubo on his part is a confessed Muslim.
The IPOB leader has once said that “Every pastor in Nigeria is evil. If you’re going to church, you’re going to hell! Direct! Because the message you’re receiving, they’re from messengers of darkness, of liars and deceivers.”
Reacting to the comment on his facebook page, the ex-militant said he has resisted all pressure to work with Kanu, who he described as a ‘idiot.’
He said Kanu was not part of the Biafra struggle from the beginning, adding that he’s a late comer to the cause.
Dokubo said “All of us are Biafrans, a set of Biafrans now decide that they have the right of life and death over all of us, that they are going to kill all Christians, that they’re going to close down all churches.
They have started going, breaking down the monuments of Mary, Angel Gabriel and all sort of things, they have proclaimed our Biafra, our own Biafra, a Jewish state.”
The plan of the Kanu led-IPOB, he said is to kill Muslims and Christians.
“They are going to kill all Moslems, including myself, a critical stakeholder, a formal stakeholder in our Biafra – they will kill me! They will kill every member of my family, they will kill every Muslim.”
And they say go and work with Nnamdi Kanu, go and work with Nnamdi Kanu. Who is this idiot you want me to go and work with?”
He stated that the Biafran leader is a fugitive and coward asking that“What are his credentials in our struggle? He rants. What is his badge of honour? 76 times in detention, still counting. I have not given up, I have not run away. I am not Ben Johnson, I am not Usain Bolt.”
Last month, Ralph Uwazuruike, leader of the Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB did not only accused Kanu of abandoning the struggle, he challenged him to come back home and fight.
The IPOB leader escaped from the country on September 14, 2017 after security forces attacked his abode in Umuahia, Abia State.
Since then, he has not hinted of returning back to Nigeria.
