Insecurity: Governor Bago Orders Arrest Of Persons With Dreadlocks, Weavons

In a move to curb the insecurity crisis ravaging the State, Governor Umar Bago of Niger State has ordered the arrest of anyone caught with dreadlocks in the State.

The Governor, in a video that has gone viral, ordered Security Agencies in the State to barb the dreadlocks and Weavons, while also issuing a fine to whoever carries it.

Governor Bago said the move was part of the measures to curb insecurity in the State.

He also stated that the State will not allow rascality and as such, anyone caught with dreadlocks or weavon will be severely dealt it.

“We will have zero telorance to rascality.

“Anyone you see with dreadlock, arrest him, cut his hair and fine him.

“Anybody you find with weavon, deal with him like an armed robber.

“Parents should warn their children, from henceforth, it’s fire for fire.

“Also, any house found harbouring criminals should be demolished, Niger state is not for useless people”, the Governor stated.
