The Imo State Police Command has embarked in a desperate search of a young man, Obioma Soribe. It has, therefore, appealed to the general public to help provide any information capable of leading to locating him and  reuniting him with his family.

In a statement signed by the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Henry Okoye, the Command said that Mr. Soroibe, aged 20, left his parents residence, No. 5 Rockview Street, Owerri, on Friday, October 24, 2025. Since then, he has not been seen and there has been no communication.

At the time he left the house, nobody knew of his destination.

Soroibe is said to be fair complexion, about 5 feet tall, and has no tribal marks.

He is, also, fluent in both English and Igbo languages, and is  reportedly mentally challenged. However, confirmed the Police,

he is still able to communicate his thoughts and needs clearly.

Okoye urged members of the public with any useful information to urgently contact the nearest police station, particularly Shell Camp Police Station, or reach out to the Police Public Relations Office.
