One of the requests of the Olubadan of Ibadan, in Oyo state, Oba Rasheed Ladoja during his recent visit to President Bola Tinubu in Aso Rock, Abuja, was the possible lifting of restriction of movement clamped on one of the Yoruba agitators, Sunday Igboho.

Oba Ladoja had paid a courtesy call on President Tinubu, a day after the Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, also visited Aso Rock.

Already, a wave of excitement and relief is spreading across the Southwest and beyond as the long-standing restriction on the name of Igboho is said to have been been finally been lifted.

Report circulating in the South West area indicate that the development means that Sunday Igboho is now free to return to Nigeria anytime he chooses — a moment many supporters have waited for with hope and patience.
