Governor Diri Declares A Week Holiday For Civil Servants

In giving its Workers a sense of belonging and to enjoy the yuletide season, Governor Duoye Diri of Bayelsa State has approved a one Week Christmas Break for all Civil Servants in the State.

Disclosing the One Week Break approval in a statement, the State Commissioner for Information, Orientation & Strategy, Ebiuwou Koku-Obiyai said:

“The break is to commence on December 24th and end on December 30th, 2024.

“However, essential Service workers are exempted from this recess and are expected to report to work as usual.”

“The governor expresses his heartfelt appreciation to all residents for their continued support and wishes everyone a joyous Christmas and a prosperous New Year”, the statement reads.
