The Progressive Stakeholders, a group within the All Progressives Congress, (APC), in Ondo State, has called on the State House of Assembly to, as a matter of urgency, empower the Deputy Governor, Mr Lucky Aiyedatiwa and declare him  the Acting Governor.

The group said the call became necessary in view of the continued absence of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, due to health challenges, which has also crippled the economy of the State.
