Gbenga Ajumoko, Another Nollywood Actor Dies

The Nigeria Movie Industry has again been thrown into mourning, few weeks after the death of Patience Oseni and Kayode Odumosu, another popular Yoruba movie actor cum script writer, Gbenga Ajumoko who was critically down with a chronic ailment has died.

The Ijebu, Ogun State born actor has been bedridden for over six months, and diagnosed of Kidney failure and Diabetes diseases.

For over months, the actor has been hospitalized at a hospital in Sagamu, Remo, Ogun State where he was earlier diagnosed with Hypertension that has got his two kidneys affected.

He has solely been treating the ailments quietly until things got worsen for him and he was transferred to a private hospital located at Ibadan Garage, Ijebu Ode, Ogun State.

The magazine gathered that one of the injections he took per day before his demise cost him nothing less than N20,000, and he has no capacity to further fund the bill.

He got to a stage he had to beg Nigerians, the government and his colleagues to rescue him as he needs millions of Naira to stand on his feets.

An account was opened to that effect, with donations to his First Bank Account, Gbenga Ajumoko, Account Number 3095903337”.

It however came as a big shock when the news went viral that the versatile actor cum producer had died, as his family’s made the disclosure about his demise.

Tributes have been pouring in from his fans and colleagues, who are yet to come to terms with his demise.

The late Ajumoko will be solely missed by colleagues and fans.
