Gambari: 150 Appointments Done By Kyari Cancelled, Reversed

There has been allegations that Kyari has been over reaching himself in the discharge of his duties as the head of Buhari’s kitchen Cabinet. Allegations that he took decisions and made appointments without consulting the president has been rife.

Rumors filtered in weekend that the new COS has digged in, and is helping the presidency to change a lot of administrative decisions carried out by his immediate predeccessor.

This has, however, not been confirmed by the presidency.

Kyari, who  rulwas alleged to have ruled as an emperor in the Villa, had succumbed to the cold hands of death through the ravaging coronavirus Pandemic. He was suspected to have contracted the disease when he went to Germany to negotiate with Siemens about investment in the Nigerian Power sector. Though he went with the minister of Power, there was uproar that the Chief of staff to the President is the one negotiating for power deals. critics had accused him of taking the trip to feather his own nest.

The Economic team is said to have been headed by the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, whose portfolio the trip falls into.

It was alleged by his critics that Kyrari has a hand in every pie in aso Rock.

Kyari’s appointment has been dogged by controversies as even the presidential media handlers were taken unawares and could not confirm the news. It took the Emir of ilorin to put in official confirmation through a congratulatory letter to the presidency of his appointment.

If the report is true, then Nigeria is poised to witness a COS that may influence his principal to chart a new course.
